Bloody Painter x (Timid) (Shy) Reader
2nd POV
You felt so embarrassed, so much so that for 4 hours you did not leave your room.
But you eventually grew hungry, and you got the courage to finally open your door and venture out into the now dark and quiet house.
You prayed Helen would be in his room asleep so you didn't bump into him, but you also wished to try and not make things awkward with him.
After a few minutes, you finished eating a quick snack and getting some water then made your way back to your room.
You neared your room, your heart had been racing since your stepped out, you yearned to go back to be feel safe and secluded.
Right at the moment you put your hand on the door knob, a shiver went down your spine as you felt someone standing next to you, and you knew who it was.
You turned your head and looked up to see Helen, his blue eyes looking down on you as they glowed from the dim light on in the hallway.
You didn't speak, instead you immediately looked down at the floor as your cheeks were a light pink and your heart raced even faster.
"Y/N." His voice softly spoke as he looked down on you.
"Yes?" You quietly responded as brought your head slightly up.
"Come with me."
His gloved took ahold of your bare one and gently pulled you away from your bedroom door and somewhere else.
You reluctantly followed, your mind slightly frozen on what to do.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I promise." He said as if he could sense your fear and your fast heartbeat.
You gulped and walked with him, towards the end of the hall where his room was.
He let go of your hand and reached for the door knob, which he turned and opened the door.
You looked up at him and he motioned you inside.
For a brief second you hesitated, but you went inside his room with him following.
Your eyes looked all around, just like your room, there were paintings everywhere, but one in particular caught your eye.
Your jaw slightly dropped, there was a painting of you, with your hoodie down (which you always wore up), and a sweet smile on your face.
It was perfectly painted, down to every last detail, your eyes, skin and hair.
In the background were light pink flowers that seemed to be coming from behind you, now you knew why he needed the paint.
You turned to him with a confused yet flushed look, wondering why he'd paint you.
Helen took his mask off and held it in his hands, revealing his turquoise eyes and the rest of his black-navy colored hair.
"I've admired you for a long time..." He said in a soft voice.
You felt your cheeks burn redder as you looked at the ground.
"Well actually, it's more appropriate to say I've...loved you for a long time." He said as he walked towards you.
Helen stood in front of you and with one hand, lifted your chin to meet his gaze.
"I wasn't sure however if you felt the same, but after earlier today I realized that I wouldn't have to worry about confessing." He said with a soft smile.
His smile caused you to smile and you softly giggled as you looked into his eyes.
"I've loved you for a long time too." You softly replied as you continued to smile.
You smiled just how he had painted it on the canvas, and he then suddenly kissed you.
Your eyes widened in surprise, and after a short moment he parted and let go of your chin.
"What do you say we stop hiding in our rooms so much and maybe see more of each other?" He asked as he put his mask on over his head.
You snapped out of your gaze and looked down again as you blushed.
"I'd like that." You replied.
Helen lifted your chin up with his hand, "Keep your hoodie down, you have a pretty face, don't hide it." He said as he smiled.
He removed his hand from you once again and pulled his mask down, now covering his face.
You started to laugh and you then hugged him, to which he chuckled and hugged you back. This was the sweet start of a new romance.
