Candy Pop x (Ghost) Reader

2nd POV

Laughing Jack studied you with wide silver eyes as he walked around you, fascinated how his eyes could see straight through you.
You watched him, an uncomfortable expression on your face.
Jason rolled his eyes and growled as he smacked him upside the head.
"Will you knock it off? She's only getting even more scared." He said as he huffed and crossed his arms, his mahogany hair swaying with his movements.
LJ whimpered and rubbed the back of his head, then mumbled an apology to you.
Candy chuckled and stood next to you, "Jack's kind of a dope, Jason is a bit more mean." He says.
Jason's honey eyes look over at him, "I'm not mean. I'm just the only one in this carnival with common sense and a mind that is...somewhat normal." He replies.
Candy rolls his eyes and LJ chuckles, "Not so normal when some kid doesn't want to be your friend." LJ teases.
Jason growls and rolls his eyes, leaving the tent.
LJ looks at both you and Candy, "I'm gonna go bother him some more, and leave you two be.~" He says as he winks and leaves.
You raised an eyebrow and slightly tilted your head.
"Was that supposed to mean something?" You questioned as you looked down at Candy.
Candy shrugged and folded his arms as he looked up at you with his magenta eyes, "No clue." He replied.
You shrugged as well and floated over to a mirror, where you nearly screamed.
Candy walked with you, and stood next to you.
"I look so...dead. Considering I am." You said as you stared at yourself.
Your body was very pale, yet you could still make out the colors of your skin, hair and eyes, as well as your clothes.
Your body had a faint look and white outline, as well as a dead look in your eyes.
Candy stared at you as well, and mumbled to himself.
"In flesh I bet you were beautiful...even as a ghost you are." He softly said out loud, meaning to keep for himself.
You looked at him and softly blushed, although no color appeared on your cheeks.
"What?" You quietly asked, pretending you didn't hear him.
Candy looked at you then turned away, the bells on the ends of his hair jingling.
"Nothing, just thinking about something." He said obviously lying.
You softly smiled and looked at the ground as you floated to him.
He turned back to you, and unfolded his arms.
Without even thinking, you lifted your hand up to touch his face, and gently did so.
A small wave of electricity and chills went down Candy's spine, he shuddered and you retracted your hand back.
"Sorry." You muttered softly as you looked down.
Candy blushed a bit and gently smiled, "It's alright." He said.
A soft smile grew on your lips as you giggled and looked up at him.
Candy's smile grew bigger, "What?" He asked.
"You're blushing." You said as you tilted your head and looked at his cheeks.
"No I'm not." He replied as he covered his face.
You rolled your eyes, and floated through him.
Candy shuddered again and turned around, peeking at you through his hands.
"Your body is warm, you are blushing." You said as you put your hands on your hips.
Candy sighed and uncovered his face, "Because you're a beautiful ghost, that's why." He replied.
Your eyes widened as you stared at him, "What a romantic thing to say for a seemingly psychotic clown." You said.
Candy started laughing, and you giggled.
After a minute, the both of your laughter died down, and you looked at eachother.
"Could I...stay here at the carnival? With you, Jason and LJ?" You asked quietly.
Candy nodded and smiled widely, "That'd be nice, then we'd have a ghost friend. A phantom friend!" He said excitedly as he clapped his hands together.
You smiled brightly and he continued clapping.
He started to jump around, eventually Jason and LJ returned, and LJ joined him in doing so.
You laughed at them, and Jason grinned as you both watched them.
The carnival was now the place where your soul could be at peace, with 3 clowns.

Thank you so much for reading this book! I had fun writing these short little 15 stories. I might write another book this summer, if I'm not lazy (haha) or ideas run out. I might make another short story book like this with different characters, or another fan fiction. I'll see when that time comes, but anyways, I hope you enjoyed reading this book as much as I loved writing it.
Ciao!
