Allura's POV

"So..." Adam says rocking back and forth on his heels. "How do we call the coalition again?" 

I open my mouth to say something but someone approaches us wearing the UE Base Executive Board Badge on their coat.

"Officer Okoye," one of the Executive board members calls to him. They walk up to us.

"That was a fantastic debate." They say.

"Thank you."

The person looks to all of us with a warm smile.

"And Paladins and Voltron team, well done. Now, Officer Okoye, are you planning to be part of the Garrison embassy?" they ask.

"That was my original plan. Now, I think I want to be part of team Voltron."Curtis explains politely.

"Really? I was going to offer you a job in the embassy Executive board." The board member says sadly.

Adam looks very guilty and steps into the conversation.

"Curtis, you can actually take that job instead of working on Team Voltron. We understand you have a bright future in that career." 

We all mutter in agreement. Curtis looks around the circle of team members, then to the Board member, then to his folder with the old Garrison seal and motto. He looks up to the board member, fixes his posture, and again speaks. 

"If I chose Team Voltron, will there still be a position open for me when the war is over?"

"It depends, but it's very likely there will be an open position."

Curtis smiles and stands with us, making his choice clear to us all.

"Until the war is over, I will be a part of Team Voltron," He states firmly.

The Executive board member holds out their hand for Curtis to take.

"Until then, welcome to the Embassy. It has been a pleasure listening to your debate."

"Thank you."

Their hands drop and the board member turns their back and walks away.

"You do have a way with communication." Adam comments.

"Thank you, but we need to get to planning this thing right away. This is going to be extremely difficult forming a formal coalition. Before we officially call everyone together, don't we need to make some sort of board of Executives like with the Bases?" He asks.

It's obvious the answer is yes. We all nod and starting of ways to get this coalition together.

Curtis starts pacing back and forth in deep thought. Then he stalls.

"Maybe this doesn't need to be so difficult." He says aloud.

"You haven't given it enough time for it to be difficult," Matt says. Pidge elbows him.

"The idea is to model these coalition forces like the UE Bases. Each base is unified under one force. That force is Voltron and each base is one race under the coalition. There will be a board of Executives which is comprised of leaders from each base. The Voltron team will be like the Executive UE Base Board. Allura, do you think you could be the link between the Coalition and Lions?"

"Yes. This is a great Idea. You need to go pitch this to the Board members. Go, hurry!" I encourage him.

"I will, but you guys, call the coalition as soon as you can. I'm sure this idea will go along with the Board."
