When I woke up, I was surprised to see Angel sitting next to my bed in a chair. I looked around, I heard a familiar beeping. I whirled my head to the left. A heart monitor. I lifted my arm only to find an IV in it. "Sorry I yelled at you..I've been pretty mean. It's just...you know." Angel said looking away the whole time. "I'm sorry." I said in a hoarse voice. Angel looked up and smiled at me as tears swelled in her eyes. We heard footsteps, our heads looked to the door, it was Kobe. "Hey Cae, are you feeling good?" he asked. "Well." I said correcting him. He chuckled and smiled at me. I looked away, my neck was sore. "I guess I should've told you about the gangs here." he said. "Yea obviously." I said. I felt like all of this was planned by Mrs. Bedford, and I was sick of her. Tears swelled up in my eyes. "You okay?" Angel asked. That's all it took for me to break, and I sobbed as hard as ever. I couldn't breathe, and my heart ached. Kobe walked over to my side and rubbed my shoulder. "What happened?" he asked. "I, I just can't... Maybe... I should go... back home." I said between sobs. "You can't go back! I won't allow it!" Angel said crying. "Don't go home Cae, your family is worried, yes...but you are being treated better here. We love you." Kobe said. "I...just don't know." I said.
