It's been months since Kageyama spoke casually to Hinata. Tsukishima was happy about this, but somehow Kageyama feels conflicted. He knows he has a boyfriend, but he can't help but be concerned with Hinata.

He was his usual self with the team. Training, matches, they were still a good combination. But when it comes to him being alone, he's gotten different. This was Kageyama's main observation, since he is in the same class as this orange-haired male. At some point, Kageyama tried to speak to Hinata but he just left after answering how he was. This left him to more hook-ups with his boyfriend instead, since he wasn't getting much attention.

But everything feels different now. He knew he found joy with Tsukishima, but now he doesn't know.

Today was another one of those days. Tsukishima was making out with him after they were left to clean the gym, but Kageyama was just trying his best to pleasure the fuck out of his boyfriend.

No. It feels wrong saying that now. He was longing for another person's concern.

Unlike him, Tsukishima easily noticed that his so-called boyfriend was out of it lately. So, he kissed him deeply before he stopped the interaction that was about to be built. "Hey King!" he snickered teasingly, "Is something wrong?" Kageyama was a bit surprised by his question since most of the time, Tsukishima didn't show much concern for him. Even so, he looked away from him and sighed.

"I-I... don't know," he mumbled.

"You tell me that, yet you know inside of you that it's Hinata, isn't it?" Tsukishima said, a bit seriously compared to his teasing statement a while ago. "I'm not dumb, Tobio. You've grown feelings for him when he finally stopped the deed."

"That's not it-" Kageyama was quick to defend, but was cut shortly.

"It is IT. Kageyama Tobio, I may not be very affectionate towards you, but I know you. Don't tell me that I'm wrong. It's conspicuous." After Tsukishima's interrogation, the two were silent. Kageyama bit his lip as if he was about to say something, but got anxious about it. Tsukishima then hugs him tight, a hug different from the one that they have shared before.

"I finally know the feeling of being hurt." he said to the black-haired boy. "With this situation, the three people involved are hurt."

"I'm sorry," Kageyama finally spoke out. He hugs Tsukishima back. "I'm... sorry..."

"Falling in love can't be helped. Am I right? Just like when our relationship started. Never did we thought we'd be together but we are. We were. But we also have to learn that love could fade. Even as much as we want to maintain it," Tsukishima releases Kageyama from the hug and holds him by the arms to keep him sitting straight and parallel to him. Kageyama tries to look away, now that tears are forming his eyes, but Tsukishima held his chin and made him look at him. "Even if I'm like this, know that I love you... I still do, but letting you go makes us all free our emotions from pain and discover things that we have just started recognizing."

"I'm sor-"

"Goodbye, Kageyama... I'll forgive you soon. As for now, seize your freedom." with that, Tsukishima planted one last kiss on Kageyama's forehead before he left the man he once labeled as his boyfriend.

As Tsukishima Kei left their gymnasium, he met up with the person who caused the issue of his ex-lover.

"Oi Tsukishima!" Hinata greeted him happily! An expression that he didn't expect after knowing that Kageyama broke this lad. "Is somebody still at the gym? I forgot my bento!"

"Yeah whatever, just get it." He said. Tsukishima then started walking away. He halted after a few step before telling him, "Don't forget to lock the gymnasium!"

"GRRRRR! SALTY AS ALWAYS!" Hinata shouted at him and laughed as he got inside the gym. As soon as he opened the door to the gym, he was shocked at the person he was left with.
