Neil was sitting on the bench dipping his legs on the pool,lost in thoughts.

Three years back on the same day,to be precise on February 14 had been extremely special for both of them.It had been a year of their relationship and Avni and Neil had been particular in celebrating their journey of togetherness.It had never been easy ,it was a rollercoaster ride in their lives ,teaching them several aspects of life .

Avii you are special ,you know that right Neil spoke in happiness and excitement sitting extremely close to Avni in their usual spot ,in the shade of the tree ,wrapping his arms around Avni's shoulders.

I know Neil ,I also feel the same ,her face changed to a pinkish hue and her cheeks were crimson red.Neil smiled seeing his effect on her ,holding her hands more firmly ,assuring her through his eyes that he will always with her.

You are no one to be blamed for Avni.Sab meri galti hai.I ignored you when you needed me.I didn't care about you because I was blindly trying to reach my dreams ,totally forgetting that you existed.I utilised my spare time for partying with my newly found friends while all you wanted was a little attention from me.I was blinded by the extravagant and luxurious life USA offered me that I took you for granted.I know it is too late to repent ,but..... his voice choked as tears formed in his eyes ,making his eyes go red.He couldn't stop cursing himself for letting a gem like her go away from him.He did a big mistake by not realising her worth,blinded by materialistic pleasures of life.
