As Neil broke the kiss ,Avni looked at him.His hands were still on her cheeks while her hands were on his chest.Words didn't seem to form in their mouths.They just stood there looking at each other when a sudden thunder brought them out of their reverie.

Avni immediately hugged Neil ,while he embraced her ,holding her more close to him.But before he could hold onto her more she withdrew from the hug and started looking here and there ,not able to look into his face directly.

He gripped onto her hand firmly and started walking away ,while Avni followed him silently without uttering anything.She wanted to ask him a lot of things, but nothing made sense to her after his sudden breakdown and the kiss that happened afterwards .

As they reached near Neil's room,Avni suddenly became aware of her surrounding that she tried to move away from Neil's hold.But he held her hand more firmly and got onto his room ,literally dragging her inside .

Neil ,kya kar rahe ho she asked immediately.

He didnt reply, but instead handed her a towel and asked her to wipe her hair as she may fall ill.

But before she could get hold of the towel ,he started wiping her hair with it surprising Avni.

Tumhe acchi se baal ponchhna nahi aata he said ,smiling thinking of an old memory, carefully wiping her hair ,while her eyes were filled with tears ,thinking how he still remembers each and every small detail of hers.

Avni tum ro kyu rahi ho ,tumhe pata hain na that I dont like you crying he spoke out of concern, wiping her tears with his own hands and caressing her cheeks.

Kuch nahi ,she had nothing else to speak of else she would break down in front of him.

Baitho he said making her sit down on the couch,while he sat just next to her.

Neil ,mujhe jaana hai she spoke even she didn't want to go leaving him.

He held her hand and looked at her.He was vulnerable and broken and she understood it better than anyone else.

I dont feel like leaving you he said honestly.

You know what Avni ,I didnt know your importance in my life when you were there with me for everything. But when you left I understood how much I need you in my life.I thought that it would be easy to let you go ,but it is hard to survive without you.You have become an addictive habit which I can never overcome ,no matter whatever I do he spoke as she sat there ,playing with her hair.

I won't force you to forgive me.A chance is all that I ask.

Neil even if I agree ,maa bilkul nahi manegi she spoke as she removed his hold from her and got from the couch.

I can't hurt her anymore.She wants me to be settled and be happy and if I can't fulfill at least a small wish of my mother who has spent her whole life for me ,then what kind of a daughter am I.
I'm sorry.If possible bhool jao mujhe she spoke ,while her eyes
were flooded with tears.She left his room ,closing the door behind her ,shattering all his hopes.
