Sorry this is a day late, things were a bit busy this week.

Swirling cloud high above

I wonder do they know love?

They aren't living, breathing things

But they seem to express what life brings

All the sorrows, all the grief

What is worth it in a life so brief

Does the sun on your skin

fill your face with a grin?

Do you recall the best of it all

even when you may fall?

Or do you let the dark consume you

not allowing any light through?

Yes, life is short and sad.

but not everything about it is bad.

The sun will always shine once more

the rivers will run and waves will crash upon shores

Life moves on with or without you

so why wonder if clouds feel like you do?

If clouds feel sorrow when they turn black

or if they remember you when they come back

To such things, expect no reply

because clouds cannot answer your why

So when you see them, dark with gloom,

just remember the happiness of life will always resume.

Hopefully you enjoy the poem even if it's a tad depressing. I'll update again sometime this week!
