- Misszombie
She leaned over the cliff, sea breeze cool on her skin. It seemed she could just lift her arms and fly. The smell of salt stung her nose but she ignored it. She leaned forward; the desire to fly was so intense. She wanted to lift up her arms and feel the heavy weight of wings; she wanted to glide over the waters and away from herself. Instead, she stood on a cliff, stuck to the earth. She brushed her auburn hair away from her face and walked away from the edge. As she went, she started to run, just to feel the speed. Her legs pumped, carrying her quickly over the earth. Her hair whipped behind her, a smile spread across her pale face. Her feet crunched the gravel beneath her and the sun shone warm upon her back.
It seemed she could just lift her arms and fly.
