Chapter 2: Distraut

(Warning: mentions of kidnapping, mentions of violence)

   (Third person)
  Roman groaned, rolling onto his back as he watched the black P.T. Cruiser drive away. He coughed and slowly got up, wishing Virgil had a car so he could lean against it.

  He pulled out his phone and called Logan, praying to god he awnsers. Logan awnsered after a few rings.

"Roman? Where are you? Patton and I have been waiting for quite awhile now."

"Virgil's b-been taken. I w-was attacked. C-come to Virgil's h-house."

   There was a silence.

"We're on our way"

   Logan hung up. Roman put away his phone, and fell. No longer able to stand without searing pain in his head and stomach. He coughed again, closing his eyes for what he thought was a few seconds, but was proven wrong when a worried Patton was shaking him.

"Hey kiddo! Are you okay?!"

Roman sat up. "Not really. Someone took Virgil... And I couldn't stop them.."

"Did you see what they looked like?" Logan asked, picking up Virgil's beanie that was laying by the garage door.

Roman shool his head, allowing Patton to help him up. "He was pretty damn strong though." Patton murmured a "language" as he helped Roman. "Is it possible that this attacker was watching Virgil?" Logan asked, walking over and handing Roman the beanie.

"Who cares!?" Roman suddenly snapped, gripping the beanie of his lover. "We have to find him! H-he is too anxious, he will go into an attack! He-" Patton cut him off. "Breathe kiddo. Virgil is strong." He assured.

Roman sighed, tears starting to flood his eyes and run down his face. "I.. I was going to propose to him..." He said, breaking down in the dad figure's arms. The sight broke not only Patton's heart, but Logan's too. The usually upgoing jock like man was now in a angry mess of tears.

"We'll find him Roman. I assure you on that fact." Logan said, his voice filled with determination and worry.
