"I mean... It's fine!" Akuma quickly tried to cover up, bowing her head down in embarrassment.
"You said, 'this happens often'...What do you mean by that," Kakashi asked, his voice swarming with different emotions.
"Mom, what did they do?" Kiri anxiously asked, hopping out of the seat and running over, tugging on Akuma's sleeve.
"They hurt her, they hurt her!" Shi roared, lunging at the villagers only to be held back my a heavy-hearted Akuma.
"It's okay, I'm fine... I-it doesn't hurt anymore..." Akuma covered her mouth again, realizing her second mistake.
"You mean they still hurt you,?" Kakashi growled as Shi thrashed and twisted in Akuma's arms, sneering at the villagers in disgust.
I looked away quickly, making sure to keep Shi tightly in my arms to prevent him from attacking the villagers.
"The demon is taking over their minds, drag it out of the shop!" A pink haired lady, that looked like an older version of Sakura yelled, earning cheers and the tapping of feet against the ground.
"Mommy! Dont take her away!" Kiri yelled, getting into a strange stance and getting ready to pounce, only to be held back by a fuming Kakashi.
"Akuma, we are going home to talk about this," Kakashi said gently, shoving the villagers out of the way and releasing waves of K.I. whenever somebody tried to grab at Akuma.
-Timeskip brought to you by the thought of Kakashi and his 'kids' lunging at the villagers-
We walked into Kakashi's apartment, Kakashi shutting and locking the door behind us, leading me to the couch.
"Akuma, you said that, 'it doesn't hurt anymore'..." Kakashi trailed off, a sad, distant look in his eyes.
"They won't stop, they won't ever stop, it's how they are..." I looked away, ignoring his sad look.
"I promise they won't hurt you anymore." Kakashi vowed, causing my face to heat up.
I swallowed the lump in my throat and said, "T-thank you, Kashi,"
I assume Kakashi smiled because the area where you could barely see the outline of his gor-, his lips.
'Looks like somebody has a crush~' Ookami teased, making my face go a slightly more defined pink.
'I do not!' I thought, saying a quick goodnight to everybody, watching them head off into the rooms and scooching to Naruto.
"Hey Naru, want to head into our mindscapes?" I asked, figuring it was worth asking.
"Well, we probably won't get any sleep anyways." Naruto shrugged, closing his eyes me following his actions.
The world slowly turned black as we slowly went into our mindscape, being greeted by the bickering of three oddly familiar people.
"Ookami, what is going on, I asked, heading to the silver cage as Naruto followed, sitting in front of the gold cage with Kurama in it, which just to happened to be next to Ookami's cage.
"I have no clue, these three just showed up..." Ookami said, staring intensely at the men.
I sighed and walked over, Naruto following behind closely.
"Alright, what are you doing here," I said, sighing as they looked to me with a surprised look.
"What are you doing here gaki," A black haired man yelled, his sharingan spinning wildly spinning.
"Oh, Naruto, don't worry it's just Hashirama, Tobirama, and Madara." I stated plainly, sitting down and thinking of a kunai, the item soon appearing in my hand, making me quickly sharpen it in disgust at how dull it was.
"How do you know who we are?" Hashirama gently asked, kneeling down to my level.
"You guys are dead," I stated bluntly, earning a knock on the head from Naruto.
"Akuma!" Naruto scolded, sounding like a mother.
"Your sounding like Tsunade more and more every day," I mumbled, striking my blade once more against the rock to sharpen it before deciding it was sharp enough.
I quickly stood up, deciding to ask Ookami how to make this place nicer than what it is.
"Hey, Ookami, how do I change this place to look less like sewer," I asked, turning my head to look at a smiling Ookami.
"I thought you'd never ask pup,' Ookami bellowed, beginning to explain how to change the place. "You just have to close your eyes and imagine a different area," Ookami summarized, earning a nod from me as I closed my eyes and imagined the forest of death but with a clearning with training dummies and targets, along with a cabin for our new visitors, imagining Ookami and Kurama's cages as colars that had the kanji for seal on them, even managing to put deer, mice, and birds for the tailed beasts to chase.
I opened my eyes and smiled as the place changed into a beautiful area, earning a small gasp of appreciation from Hashirama.
Ookami immediately began running around, occasionally dropping to the ground and rolling around, earning a small smile from me.
"Huh, not bad kiddo," Kurama said smirking, running at me and grabbing me, curling himself into a ball, trapping me in his orange-red fur.
"Ookami!" I called, smiling as Ookami turned and ran at Kurama, grabbing me and curling up as Kurama tried to grab me back.
"Help Naruto!" I yelled, trying to climb out of the prison of warm fur.
"I'm coming!" Naruto yelled, jumping onto Ookami's fur, only to seemingly disappear into the white-grey fur.
"Naruto!" I screaming, falling back down into the depths of the fuzzy prison.
"Somebody help!" Naruto screamed, only to have Hashirama jump into the fur, using his chakra control to walk on the fur, grabbing Naruto and then me, jumping off the fur and dropping us, falling onto his back and 'dying'.
I gasped for breath as I sat up, unable to stop a small sneeze from escaping me.
"D'aww~" Hashirama cooed, only to have me scooch away, yelled a quick goodbye and exiting the mindscape, Naruto following my actions soon after.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, sorry it wasn't even 1,000 words long! 😪
