Sirius and Remus had decided to finally tell their friends why they never go home for christmas. For Sirius it was because he wasn't welcome at home anymore, at second year of the school he told his parents he was gay and got kicked out, he's been spending his summers half on the street half at the Potters. Before that he was also never really eccapted so he was happy to be gone. For Remus it was because he wanted to be there for his boyfrie- best friend.

When they wanted to talk with James and Peter about it, the two looked confused at them as of why they coudn't talk here, in the full great hall, full of students. No thanks not here, Sirius thought. He didn't want the Queermas cover to be blown, so they walked to the library with Peter and James behind them.

"Alright mate, what's wrong?" James asked as they entered a dark corner where they always talked. "Well uh we are gay..." Sirius said pointing to himself and Remus, James did a dramatic gasps then returned to normal. "We already knew mate, come on you didn't really think you could hide something as that right?" James asked, Peter chuckled. "Okay, so you guys are okay with it?" Remus asked.

"No." James said deadpan, Remus and Sirius froze. WHAT?! But James never seemed to care?! Sirius thought. James then started laughing "Ofcours we are okay with it! Now is there something else or can I eat breakfast?" James asked.

James had come down to the great hall a little late because he had been doing homework late in the night that was due today. (Mood)
And he was hungry for some chicken. (Again, mood)

"There is a Queermas, it's for everyone who doesn't get accepted by their families and have to stay at hoghwarts in the holidays." Remus answered. James looked horrified, "PEOPLE DON'T ACCEPT THEIR OWN CHILDREN?!" He yelled out of disbelieve, all Sirius and Remus could do was nod and try to get James to calm down so they don't get kicked out of the library.
"So we wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to stay and join the Queermas squad..." Sirius  said trailing off. Sirius was scared, and Sirius didn't get scared fast. But these people were his friends and he didn't want to lose them.

"Ofcours we'll join!" James and Peter yelled at the same time. It would be awesome! James thought, and he would be right. "What do you guys do?" Peter asked exsited, Remus chuckled at his friend. "We do secret santa so everyone gets a present! And we have sleepovers everywhere! The Queermas sqaud are the only people who have seen all the common rooms." Sirius said just as exsited as Peter.

The boys started to talk and laugh and plan for the Queermas, this way James and Peter found out that they do secret santa call a few days before christmas morning. That they have a sleepover from christmas night untill a day after christmas or more, they would eat breakfast togheter at the Ravenclaw table and play in the snow or watch movies.

With other words, the Marauders coudn't wait. and when they told the people who were sort of in charge of the Queermas, they were exsited to have all of the Marauders joining.

Two weeks later and it was time for christmas, James and Peter had already told their parents that they woudn't be home for christmas.

The Marauders were packing some of their stuff, they would not come back into their dorm untill christmas was over and maybe not even after that. A lot of students were leaving for the holidays and were saying goodbye to their friends who were staying. There were also a few students who are staying that are not joining the Queermas but don't care about the slytherins being in their common room.

The professors who stay also turn a blind eye on Gryffindor students walking around the kitches with their pj's, or Huffelpufs crawling out the Ravenclaw common room looking like they only had an hour of sleep, Ravenclaw students leaving the Gryffindor common room with a few Slytherin students.

Remus, Sirius, James and Peter ran down seeing the queermas sqaud already sitting there. "Bye James and Peter!" A boy from their house said. James looked at Remus as if to ask if they were part of the sqaud. Remus nodded, "Actualy we are staying for Queermas." James said. Soon after he and Peter got a lot of hugs from the students, "So you're queer too?!" One of them yelled.

"Well uh no.." Peter answered, then everyone looked at James as he stood frozen. He screshed his neck, "I uhh I need to tell you guys something.." He started blushing as everyone looked at him. "WAIT YOU ARE?!" Sirius yelled.

"Well yeah... I'm bisexual.." James answered. He got even more hugs and he started laughing, "So your parents aren't okay with it either?" One of them asked. "Oh no, they love me I'm just here to support Sirius." James answered with a little grin, Wich a lot found adorable and cute.

Then it finally began, the first night was spend in the Ravenclaw common room, snuggled up togheter watching movies.

The night of christmas they spend in the Gryffindor common room, they told stories to each other, played in the snow and listend music. Only stopping when Mcgonagall came in to scold them for staying up so late and then left.

That night James could hardly sleep, he was so exsited and the last two days had been awesome. He had made a lot of new friends and had gone to Hogesmaede to get a present for secret santa. He coudn't wait for his presents or the present his mum and dad would send him!
James fell asleep in the middle of the night.

When the Marauders had woken up before everyone else they started to put their presents under the big ass tree in the common room.
They started to talk, "So do you guys like it so far?" Sirius asked, Remus smiled at them. Peter and James nodded "Would be more fun if you guys finally tell us your dating." James pointed out.

Remus and Sirius started blushing, after a while of looking between Peter and James and each other Sirius finally replied. "Fineee we're dating.".
Sirius layd his face in his hands while blushing even more, after a while of silence people started clapping and yelling. "Finally! Best christmas present ever!" One yelled, wich made the others laugh.
Looking back, the whole Queermas sqaud was there.

The thirth day, the sqaud went to the Huffelpuf house and baked cookies and cake.

The last day they spend at Slytherin doing all sorts of stupid little games like truth or dare, spin the bottle, even some wizard games too.
All in all it was a great chrismas for everyone staying.
And James and Peter finally understood why Sirius and Remus never lose their smiles after chrismas at Hogwarts.

Auther note: YA YEET AN OTHER CHAPIE THING!!! Again not my headcanon, it's not even close to christmas but I just really liked this idea 😅
