"Is that an old message?"

"That's the front door, Steve."

"But Nat, where has he been all this time? It's been almost 4 months, and he turns up now? Something doesn't feel right."

"Maybe he got waylaid on the way. He had to come here all the way from San Fran, remember? Maybe the snap has made travel very hard. C'mon, we can't leave him at the door."

"Yahh, I guess you're right."

"F.R.I.D.A.Y. let Scott in. Just make sure that he is Scott and not some imposter."

"Okay, boss. And should I also call a meeting in the lounge in ten minutes?"

"Yupp."

Ten minutes later found Steve and Natasha in the lounge along with the rest of the crew – Tony, Bruce, Rhodey, Clint and Rocket.

"What'd you call a meeting for? I was in the middle of designing my new suit, and you know that once I start on something, I only stop until I'm done with it. "

"I know that Tony, but we may have some developments. Scott Lang turned up at the compound some time ago, and I believe that he may have something to tell us."

"Scott Lang? That dude who became big in Germany? What's he doing here?"

"Unless he comes in, we won't be able to know. And he should be coming in right about... now."

Right on cue, Scott walked in. He looked around the room and was reassured to see that there were at least some familiar faces - Cap, Natasha, Clint & Stark. Standing with them were probably Stark's friend from Germany and Bruce Banner. Standing next to Tony was a raccoon.

"What's a raccoon doing here?"

"FOR THE LAST TIME, I AM NOT A RACOON!!! JUST BECAUSE I LOOK LIKE A RACOON DOESN'T MEAN I AM ONE!!!"

"Rocket, why don't you calm down? I'm sure that Scott didn't really mean that, did he?" Natasha glared pointedly at him.

"Nope. Nope, I didn't."

"Can anyone please tell me what's going on? I've been stuck in the Quantum Realm for 3 months, and I have no idea what's going on."

"Where?"

"How about you tell me your story, and I'll tell you mine?"

"Nat, you're up."

"In March, Bruce landed back on Earth after spending more than two years god-knows-where, with a warning that Thanos was coming. Turns out that this Thanos was a space tyrant who was obsessed with maintaining balance throughout the universe. He was after things known as the infinity stones, which are basically stones which when used, give the user great power. Thanos attempted to collect these infinity stones, and with all of them together, he wanted to kill half of the population of the universe."

"What??!!!! How could he even manage that? If they're just stones, what can they do?"

Tony spoke up, "There were six of them - power, space, reality, soul, mind and time. Each of them granted Thanos the ability to master its own element. We did our best to stop him. I, along with some other friends went to Thanos' home planet and fought him there. We were unsuccessful. Steve and the others fought him here, but they were unsuccessful as well. We didn't stand a chance against Thanos in the first place."

"And...?"

"Thanos did exactly what he said he was going to do. He wiped out fifty percent of all living creatures. And he did this with a simple snap of his fingers, so just imagine how much power do the stones hold."
