Peter whirled around. Walking towards him was Doctor Strange.

"What are you doing here? You got snapped away as well?" Strange asked him.

"Yahh, duh. That's why I'm here."

"So who's left back on Titan? Tony and Nebula?"

"I guess so. They hadn't dusted away when I did, at least."

"That's good then. Thanos stayed true to his promise."

"Umm... what promise?"

"I'll fill you in later. Remind me." He turned to Gamora. "Oh, and by the way, I am Doctor Strange. I was Sorcerer Supreme back on earth before Thanos happened."

"Gamora."

"Quill's girlfriend? Didn't you die before the snap?" Strange questioned.

"Well yes, but Thanos used me to obtain the Soul Stone, so I guess that's why I ended up here. I'm sorry about Peter's actions, by the way. He's been known to act like an idiot sometimes, but this tops all of them."

"There's no need to apologize, Gamora. Quill did what he thought was right. And besides, there was no other way. What had to be done was done. It was necessary."

"What do you mean?" Gamora asked.

"I promise to explain everything later. But first, I think that we should show Peter around the place. See if he finds any familiar faces." He turned to Peter. "Let's go."

"I'm kinda scared, Doc. I hope that there's no one here who I know."

"Well, there wasn't any person I knew, and you were the first known person I saw. So that may be of a little help."

They gathered in the main tent quarter of an hour later. Peter had not recognized anybody, which had been a relief for him. The search had proven to be a weird one because it wasn't just humans who were in the area, but a multitude of species. Peter had maintained his distance from all of them because he had no clue what they were, as did Doctor Strange and Gamora, although they seemed more at ease than Peter.

"When we were on Titan, waiting for Thanos to turn up, I went forward in time to view a number of possible futures. I wanted to see if we stood any chance against Thanos at all." Strange began his explanation.

"Did you see anything?" Gamora asked.

"He saw 14,000,605 futures, out of which we only won in one of them," Peter replied.

"From that point onwards, I ensured that all the things needed for that one future were in place." Strange continued. "I'm sorry, but I can't disclose the plan now. It might mess things up later."

"Ohh. It's alright. We understand." Gamora reassured him. "Let me know if you need any help. We need to help each other here, no matter how weird that may turn out to be. I'll be in the next tent. You guys can catch up if you want to." Saying this, she left the tent.

Strange got up after her. With a wave of his hands, he made some form of glass shards form a circle around him and Peter, almost as if they were being locked in a glass cage.

"This is the Mirror Dimension," Strange said upon seeing Peter's surprised face. "We use the mirror dimension to train, surveil, and sometimes to contain threats. The real world isn't affected by what happens here."

"Why did you bring me here?" Peter asked.

"Because I wanted to tell you everything without any interference. That includes Gamora. I'm not going to trust her immediately, even though her actions are honorary."
