"So what are we gonna do when we get there?"

"Rocket, I've told what needs to be done four times already. How many more times do I have to tell you? You're going to stay on board in case we need to leave quickly. Just like last time."

"Why is it always me who misses all the fun?"

"Because you're the best pilot, Rocket. If not for you, I doubt Thor and I would even be here. You were where we needed you to be. You saved all of us that day."

"Now that you put it that way, I do feel important, you know," Rocket quipped. "But I still wanna come. For Groot's sake."

"Say, Carol, he actually can come. We can just leave the ship running. And I have the Bifrost in case of an emergency."

"I don't know, Thor. This is Thanos we're talking about. We have to be ready for everything. But, you're partially right. We're going to need all hands on deck here. Rocket, you're up. But Thor, you have to be ready to wield the Bifrost anytime we might need it."

"Yahh, I will be."

"Rocket, you're up then."

"Let's go kick some ass!"

The team headed out, using the dense evergreen as cover in case of an attack from Thanos. Carol was in the lead, followed by Natasha, Clint, and Rocket, with Thor bringing up the rear. They hurried quickly, in fear of Thanos pinpointing their exact location.

All of a sudden, a loud sound echoed throughout the forest. The Avengers looked up to see a chunk of wreckage descending rapidly towards them.

"NOOOOO!!"

Carol went Binary as Thor charged up simultaneously. Both of them shot up into the sky and attempted to reduce the object before it squished them. The others rushed out of the way as Carol and Thor were unsuccessful in making much damage, although they were able to reduce the size of the object.

FWOOM!!

The object smashed into the turf, sending shock waves and debris, destroying acres of forest land.

"These things are similar to the ones which had those outrider things in Wakanda. We needed an entire army to take them down last time, and even then, we were going down," Natasha cried.

Carol and Thor landed next to them, glowing yellow and electric blue.

"Once again saying, you didn't have me last time," Carol smirked.

The group headed out once again, this time moving in a circle.

Suddenly, Clint stopped.

"There's something moving out there. And it's more than one thing." He pointed in a random direction.

"Guys heads up. We go in, kill Thanos, get the others back, and go back home."

They continued forward and soon found themselves in a clearing. Thanos was seated in front of them. He appeared to be alone.

"Back again already?" He questioned, a smile on his face. "I thought you'd take more time to regroup."

"We were in a hurry to get our friends back," Carol replied. "We couldn't wait for the others to finish planning. We just rushed in, knowing we'd be able to win. So here we are."

"I admire your courage. Your dedication. Rushing back here to get your friends back at all costs. You could not live with your own failure. Where did it bring you? Back to me."

"YOU KILLED THEM!! YOU KILLED MY FAMILY!!" Rocket shrieked.

"I swear everything I did was completely random. I didn't target anyone."
