A different Shield Hero

Chapter 1

I felt the world return from my violent slumber, my head spinning like a marry-go and I remember the face of my brother.... "Nii-san?" that's right I was in the library only moments before, but then... what happened after? And just where  am I?

I flipped my head left and right and found that I was in a circle shaped room.
I don't think it was anywhere I'd been before. And it certainly was not the library.

I heard the sound of people marveling at something.
There were men in robes, looking at me in awe.

"What's all this?!"

I turned in the direction of the voice and discovered three other people there. Like myself, they didn't seem to know what was going on.

I looked at the floor. It was covered in weird patterns that resembled circles you'd see in a scary movie during a scary ritual. There was also an altar of some kind. 

"the fu ck...." I whistle.

I then notice I was armed with something.
I was holding a shield. It was plain and fit my hand perfectly. Though I couldn't figure out why I was holding it, so I went to put it down, only to find that I was unable to do so. 

It was like it was stuck to me. I yanked and it came off only to vanish and reappear on my arm.
 I – was – freaked out by that.

One of the other pepole behind me a blonde ponytail guy in his twenties spoke up
"Where are we?" He was armored with a spear.

The other two... one held holding a sword and the other a bow.

"Oh Heroes! Please save our world!"

"What is that supposed to mean- Ow! WFT???"
I tried to rid of the shield, and it flew off my hand and hit ponytail guy in the head. 

The Shield vanished before the other noticed and again was on my arm.

 "Come on!" I curse ignoring the blond male rubbing his head.
No one seemed to have cared what hit him especially  the band of the robed men.

"There are many complications in this situation, but to offer a simple answer to your question, we have just completed an ancient ceremony and summoned you four Heroes."

"Summoned?" Ponytail asked.

"You mean you guys kidnapped us?!" I said outloud.

"They summoned us" Ponytail clarified.

"Same thing isn't it? I never asked to be summoned so it's still kidnapping!".

The robe men ignored our argument "Our world teeters on the brink of destruction. Heroes, please lend us your strength!" said the robed men, bowing very deeply to us.

Nii-san, I have awoken in a situation that is scientifically impossible and even more frightening is the fact that I left my phone at home so I can't even call the police; help me!!!  (‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·)

while I am lamenting the others has already responded.
