Avelyn's POV

Right now, Coco is currently dressing me up in something cute for the fair. He said this was gonna be like our first date, so I giggled but didn't complain.

He dressed me clad in a pastel pink sweater that tucked into a black pleated skirt with a bow on the front. For shoes, he insisted I wear something comfortable because we'd be walking around a lot at the fair, so I'm wearing a pair of black flats. Lastly, for my hair, he left it down, silver locks styled in loose waves.

One reason why I love Cole so much is because he never fails in making me feel beautiful. I could be dressed in a potato sack, and he'd still manage to style it perfectly.

I giggle when he leans down to give me a quick peck on the lips after he finishes with my hair.

"You look beautiful, Ava. Now let's go. The boys are getting a little restless. They're anxious to see you," he informs, making me blush at the compliment but laugh at the others' impatience. I nod and he leads me down the stairs. When we reach the bottom, my other two boys are already down there, waiting eagerly for my arrival. Once they see me, they both beam at me.

"You look adorable, princess," Xavier compliments. "Are you ready to go?"

"Yup," I answer and Cole leads me outside to their car, hand still clasped in mine. They all insist I sit in the front, but I refuse, saying they have much longer legs than me and it wouldn't make sense if I sat in the front. They agree begrudgingly when they realise they can't convince me otherwise, and I smile in triumph as I slip into the back with Xavier. He was able to snag a seat in the back with me, too, and Cole called sitting next to me on the way back.

I laugh at their possessive banter on the way to the fair grounds, not chiming in, just listening with a bright smile on my face as they chat amongst each other.

As we near the fair grounds, I see a long line waiting to be parked, and I bounce excitedly in my seat. I squeal when I see the large Ferris Wheel in the distance.

"I wanna go there first!" I exclaim and they laugh at my eagerness.

"Of course we can go there first, babe," Ash assures as he takes my hand, helping me step out of the car once we've parked.

"We just have to get our tickets first," Xavier announces, grabbing my other hand, leading both Ash and I to the ticket booth.

When we reach the booth, we're met by a boy in his late teens, giving tickets in exchange for money. He looks from the boys to me when we've stepped up for our turn.

"Hey," he greets with a smile at me, completely disregarding the others. My boys glare in return, but I decide to overlook it.

"Hi, can we have four tickets please?" I ask.

"Of course, beautiful," he nods his head. I cringe slightly...

He called me beautiful.

I shake out the internal shiver and make my face as emotionless as I can possibly muster, hardening my heart a little more to prevent the wall I've just recently rebuilt from collapsing again.

"Thank you," I say to him as he hands me four bracelets. Ash gives him the cash with a glare and we're on our way. The boy winks at me before I turn away, and I have to fight away the shiver that threatens to take over me.

When we walk into the entrance of the fair, I stop my boys so I can put their bracelets on them. I don't realize what is written on my bracelet until after I've put it on--that boy's number--but I decide it's best to not tell the guys and kiss each of them on the cheek after I've put their bracelets on each of them. I choose not to let the strange looks we get from passerbyers affect me and grab Xavier's hand, tugging him to the stand that sells the fluffy cloud of sugar that I've always wanted to try but was never allowed to. The boys follow behind with mirth.
