AN: This chapter gets a little graphic, and there will be a very intense scene; it involves sexual assault. There will be a warning before it happens, and I will put a marker at the end so you don't have to read it if you're not comfortable with it.
Reader discretion is advised...

Cole's POV
With Ava's reassurance, we feel slightly better. In our time of crisis, anything helps.
"So, kitten, what do you propose we do?" I ask, but the pen doesn't move.
"Avelyn," Ashton calls, voice laced with worry. "Babe, are you there," he tries once more. But still, nothing. It's as if she's suddenly disappeared.
"No, no, no. This can't be happening. Princess, come back to me." Xavier is threading his hands through his hair like a mad man, but I know that I look no better right now.
"Her vision must've ended. Damn it! What are we gonna do now?" Ashton growls.
"We continue searching like we were before," Xavier concludes. "Let's go check the cameras; they might've picked something up in our absence."
Ashton and I nod in agreance, and we all rush up the stairs in a panic. We don't know what they could be doing to my angel right now. They could be torturing her for all we know.
We bound into Ashton's room and find his laptop open with multiple tabs pulled up. Each are from different cameras, and each hold different footage. None of it is live footage, but we'll take what we can get.
There are about five windows pulled up on the screen, and no piece of footage seems to hold any value. We stand there, staring at the bleak screen, for hours without any indication that our angel was anywhere near these locations. But suddenly, hours later, I spot something of significance. Right there, in the upper right-hand corner, is camera footage from a gas station.
Of this analysis, I can make out the image of a car. It's silver and beat up a little. I immediately recognize it and point at it, my finger shaking from the adrenaline that's pumping through my veins.
"Guys, look there!" I shout. "It's Mr. Brown's car!"
"Nice find, Cole! Can you see Ava in it?" Ashton asks. We all inch a little closer to the screen, trying to spot our angel in the car.
"No," I pout.
"Hey Ashton, can you zoom in a little? Maybe that'll help," Xavier asks, and Ashton nods. He clicks on the tab to bring it up full-screen and zooms in. It's hard to tell, but I can just faintly see a familiar silver strand of hair peaking out in the backseat.
I'd recognize that hair anywhere. "There! Right there!" I tap on the screen. "What do you see there?" I quiz, still buzzing from the adrenaline.
"Silver," Xavier states unenthusiasticly, then he finally seems to make the connection. He snaps his fingers in conclusion and says, "Oh thank God. We've finally got something. Ashton, pull up the coordinates for this gas station."
Ashton is quick to pull up the coordinates on Google Maps. From this, we're able to see that this gas station resides in a remote area with not much surrounding. In fact, nothing lies anywhere near it.
"Avelyn said she thinks she's in a cellar, right?" He drawls, and I nod my head.
"Yeah, what's your point? We haven't got all day, Xavier. God knows what they could be doing to our angel right now," I say, frustrated as all hell.
"Shut up, I'm getting there," he snaps, and I frown.
'Ava's departure is really starting to get to us.'
