Mortals Meet Percabeth!

Adam's POV

Hey, I'm Adam and lately, my life has been extremely confusing, it all started with a strange day at school when my friend Percy was acting distant and distracted. By the end of that day, I found out I was a demigod! Percy drove me home, I explained to my dad and right away, Percy whisked me off to camp.

When we arrived, safely, Thank the Gods, everything was very rushed. We had arrived a bit late so I got the quick version of the whole, Greek Gods are real speech. It was told by a girl named Annabeth, Percy's girlfriend. I'm happy for Percy, he seems so happy with her, you can clearly tell their in love, they're so cute! Wow, my fanboy side is really showing today!

I was shown to the Hermes cabin, which wasn't as crowded because it wasn't summer and there had been an extension added to it, I was told by Annabeth. I was so tired and stressed when I arrived that when walking to the campfire, I was able to endorse the beauty of the camp, the calm, swaying trees, the detailed, unique cabins, that represented the Gods and the lake, which I feel like I will probably become attached to in the coming months.

I was in a daydream, or should I say nightdream, when I heard a gasp from everyone. I shook myself and started to feel....different. I didn't know what it was but then Chiron walked over to me and exclaimed, "All Hail, Adam Roberts, son of Aphrodite!" WOAH, then I realised, I was encased in a silver glow, with what looked like a dove symbol floating above my head. I noticed that my clothes were now neater and less scruffy, my hair was chopped neatly and my face felt fresher as if it had been soaked and cleansed in cold water. "The blessing of Aphrodite." Chuckled Annabeth, now that she said it, I remember learning about that in Greek class, I had always liked that class.

Though now, I felt uncomfortable, I hated being the centre of attention. Everyone was staring with their mouths wide in shock and the rest of the Aphrodite came over and hugged, patted on the back and shook hands with me. As soon as campfire was over, I gathered all my stuff and moved it to the Aphrodite Cabin. I had a comfortable, cosy bed, right beside the window. I always felt peaceful looking outside, at the trees and nature in general.

I met the leader of our Cabin, Piper Mclean. I couldn't sleep so she stayed up with me and told me about her and the rest of the sevens adventures. About Jason, her boyfriend, who was in the Zeus cabin at this very moment. Then she told me about Percy and Annabeth, and Tartarus. I had always wondered why Percy missed almost a year of school, now I knew why, especially why he had come back almost broken, even till today,he still had the deep intense look that never left his eyes.

So far, I love going to camp, but I've decided to only go in the summer because I can't just leave my mom by herself, and I want to continue with my education. I am excited to keep training and to do some minor quests in the future, I'll leave all the big stuff to the seven;) But so far, everything is looking good.
