*sadies pov*
on the way "home" we decided to just hurbthe courthouse now. we started tracing the signatures. we filled out the paperwork in the car. we turned it in. and it was official. alyssa was free. now it's time to get home to her.
we picked everyone up again. and texted everyone to meet at our house. we all met up and we went inside. the duffers bought a cake. they were all waiting downstairs.
*alyssas pov*
finn and i were just cuddling
alyssa: were you gonna say something earlier?
finn: when is earlier?
alyssa: when i was crying? you started to let go of me and i told you not too
finn: oh yeah
alyssa: well what were you gonna say?
finn: nothing important right now. let's just sit here.
alyssa: did you know shrek came up with his own name on the spot when donkey asked him?
he just started laughing. i smiled and looked at him just staring at him as he laughed

*finns pov*
why? i couldn't stop laughing. she was staring at me laughing. she was just smiling. finally i stopped laughing and looked back at her. i smiled as well. then leaned in and kissed her
then sadie and natalia walked in
*alyssas pov*
his kisses were great.
then the shishters walked in
natalia: oop sorry
sadie: we got a little something for you
alyssa: and what's that?
they handed me an envelope with money in it? it was at least a thousand. then i remembered i taught her how to do that
alyssa: did you use what i taught you?!! SADIE IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!
sadie: YAY
i ran over and hugged them
alyssa: aghhh i love you guysss. okay give me the signatures
natalia: no need
she handed me a few papers
alyssa: what is this?
i opened it and looked at it. i dropped them and walked over to natalia and hugged her. without saying anything.. i just hugged her. and then i think i started crying. nope. it was natalia.
alyssa: thank you
natalia: of course
alyssa: i'm not calling you mom by the way
natalia: sister!
we all laughed. i sat down next to finn again.
sadie: there's actually a few people here to see you
alyssa: arGHHHHHH okay. let's go then
i grabbed finns hand and we all walked out. we went downstairs and then i was alone
alyssa: oH okay less social interaction
i started walking back upstairs
then they all jumped out and screamed "CONGRATULATIONS"
i saw everyone there.
alyssa: holy jesus fuck!
they all laughed
we all sat down
adults in chairs or in the couch
kids on counters or tables or the floor
(that sounds dirty)
millie pulled me aside
millie: i want you to know i broke up with jacob after i left earlier. i didn't know the history with your dad and- and i'm sorry. because it wasn't my intention to hurt you. jacob said it'd be a good idea and i thought it would too because i figured you hadn't seen him in a while and- i'm really sorry
alyssa: millie it's okay.
it wasn't
alyssa: you didn't know, it was jacobs fault.
millie: are you sure?
no.
alyssa: of course
she didn't know. it's okay. she broke up with him. because she knows it was wrong.
agh okay! back to finn
finn: hey everything okay?
i sat on the counter
finn: just perfect.
he turned around standing in between my legs so he was facing outward. we joined the conversation. and thEN I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A CAKE. YAY
after hours and hours of talking singing and screaming everyone went home
