*alyssas pov*
i went downstairs to sneak food in my room. but i heard someone on he couch. i went over and saw finn?
alyssa: finn? what are you doing here?
finn: i don't wanna go home and nat said i could crash on the couch.
alyssa: do you wanna sleep in my room?
finn: no i'm okay. couch is pretty comfortable
alyssa: youre lying and that's a fact. these couches are the most uncomfortable thing. you are sleeping in my room. let's go.
i grabbed his hand and the pizza rolls i made and we went upstairs. we stayed up until 1 in the morning and we went to sleep.
*finns pov*
i didn't want to go home. my parents had been fighting. i don't know why. it normally ends in pretty loud moaning though
( hah ew ) so i just stayed with alyssa. she came back and laid down. i put my arm over her waist. i heard her smile and and she turned around to face me. she curled into a ball and just put her head in my chest. her breathing got heavier meaning she was sleeping. i smiled and soon later fell asleep.
i woke up to a pillow thrown on my face
alyssa: wake up baby. i'm going to grab mcdonald's. you want anything?
finn: uh can i get a chicken biscuit?
alyssa: yeah, drink?
finn: just a water
alyssa: alright. i'll be back.
*alyssas pov*
i got to mcdonald's order and on my way back i ate my hot cakes and drank my caramel frappé. it was so good. nat and sadie didn't want anything. i got home and went up to my room. to find something that 100% completely broke my heart in a million pieces.
finn kissing millie
i dropped his food. they both looked at me. millie has some sort of evil smile on her face and finn looked like he was gonna cry
alyssa: wh-
i didn't bother finishing my sentence. i walked away.
i walked towards the door.
finn: ALYSSA WAIT!
i walked out
and to the tree
my tree
nobody knew where it was. nobody followed me. i turned off my location and sat. in the tree. on a very high branch. thinking. just thinking
why would finn do that?
why would millie do that?
how could they do that to me
and in my own room!
i heard finn calling out for me. i climbed higher in the tree. and put on my green sweatshirt so i looked like leaves.
finn: ALYSSA PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN
he sounded like he was crying?
why the fuck is he crying?
i decided i'd let him explain.
i took off the sweatshirt and jumped to another tree
and jumped down
alyssa: what do you want finn
i said as tears dropped down from my eyes to my cheeks.
finn: alyssa please listen!
alyssa: you have 60 seconds
finn: okay. so basically a little while after you left millie came in and said she needed to talk to me. so i was like okay yeah sure what's up. so she told me that i should dump you and me and her should be a power couple and shit. i said no. then she said maybe this will change your mine and then she just walks up to me and kisses me! that's when you walked in.
alyssa: how do i know if you're telling the truth
finn: becAUSE I LOVE YOU YOU IDIOT
alyssa: you're just saying that
(be prepared for a cliché cringe ass moment)
finn: i'm not though.
he said as he stepped closer to me and held my hands in his.
finn: alyssa i'm in love with you. i'm in love with the way you light up when you quote vines or disney movies. or when we watch vines or disney movies. or when you smile. i'm in love with the way you laugh, the way you talk. the way you look away and bite the left corner of your bottom lip when you're blushing because i said something cheesy. or when you tuck your hair behind your hair. or when we are at the grocery store and you sit in the car like a child. and when you giggle because you knock shit over and make me pick it up. and the way you dance around the house listening to music. or when you sing. i'm in love with everything you do. and i'm in love with all of you. so what you have a messed up home life.. that doesn't matter to me! i love you for who you are and i want to be with you and only you!
by now i was crying. i smiled and looked away. then bit my lip.
i looked at him and he was crying too
i kissed him. i put my hands around his neck as his found their way around my waist. i pulled away
alyssa: i believe you
i pulled him into a hug and buried my face in the crook of his neck
alyssa: *whispers* and finn?
finn: yes?
alyssa: i love you too. i said as i cried harder
i felt him smile. he picked me up and spun me around.
then he saw the tears down my face
finn: baby what's wrong?
alyssa: nothing, nothing at all
finn: i love you. so much
alyssa: i love you too. so much more
finn: impossible
alyssa: yeah we are not having this cliché argument. let's go home.
finn laughed and started to walk away
alyssa: pigggyback ride!!
and i jumped on his back. he laughed again and held onto me. and we went home. when we got there. natalia was yelling at millie
natalia: WHY THE HELL DID YOU KISS HIM.
i slammed the door shut
i walked over to her
i bent over because she was sitting on the couch.
alyssa: touch my man and you'll regret honey
millie: threatening me?
alyssa: honey that's not a threat. that's a promise
i winked and walked over to finn. i grabbed his hand but he stopped me spun me around and kissed me very passionately
i heard natalia snort as she watched. i pulled away and walked away with finn. we went up to my room. and once we got there we burst out laughing
finn: i'm sorry that happened baby
alyssa: as long as i'm with you it doesn't matter
we smiled and kissed.
at least i get my happy ending
