Ally's POV  ~

"What are you doing here?" I hissed.

"Checking on your new bestie. I didn't come here for something else, unless you want it." He whispered, running his fingers down my back.

"Put your dick in a girl who doesn't want to murder you." I scoffed.

"This precious girl will take it. She'll love it too, I know it. Are you jealous that she gets such a good job and you're stuck here. You'll be lucky to get your precious flower girl job back, while Layla here's helping us solidify our presence here in Scranton." Ryan said, walking over to Layla who was still fast asleep on the couch.

"You are such a sick fuck." I exclaimed, throwing my empty mug at him.

It completely missed him, and instead hit the wall where it crashed with a large bang. The ceramic mug shattering into a million little pieces.

"What?" Layla groggily murmured, shooting up from the couch.

Her eyes dashed across the room, and once she saw Ryan resting against the foot of the couch she jumped and scooted closer towards me.

"Now look at what you've done. Poor thing was just trying to sleep and she can't even do that because of your idiotic little temper. Come on, Layla. Let's go sleep in my room where Ally won't be throwing any little hissy fits." Ryan said, reaching out to her.

"No, you back off." I warned him, running over to step in between the two of them.

"Is this really where you want to do this?" He snarled, his eyes glossing over with an animalistic glare.

"The least you can do is fucking let her sleep!" I yelled.

"Oh no." I heard Layla whisper, watching as she hid underneath her blankets.

"You and I are going upstairs." Ryan declared, turning around to grab her.

"No!" I growled, grabbing his arm and pushing him back.

"Let's not fight in front of the young one." Ryan hissed, reaching out to take hold of my wrist and walk me out of the room.

He slammed the door shut behind us, marching us down the hall. Each step down the hallway only allowed me to grow angrier and angrier with him. As we reached the end of the hallway, which backed up into a staircase I let him have it.

"This whole thing is so motherfucking crazy, Ryan! You and your merry band of idiots are running a city like dictators! You have people locked up in a hotel for looking at you the wrong way, and girls in the basement locked up in cells! There was some humanity in you when we were married, and newsflash you're all gone. You guys went from playing as a band to becoming some sort of anarchist gang running this city. It's psychotic! I know the old way of life for everyone here is out of the picture and no longer around, but you assholes have let the power get to your head." I yelled, trying to get him to understand how pissed off I was without raising my voice too loud to catch the attention of one of the other guys.
