World Of Ink (A Splatoon Story)

VS. Sniper

Off the hook dropped us back at our apartment and promised 8 that he could stay with them. We all gave our goodbyes, and crashed out on our beds. The next morning arrived, and whoop-de-do, I slept in.... Nobody was in sight. I grabbed my roller and placed the button on my drawer, while running out the door. "Time for some turf." I thought to myself. I was kinda surprised when Lavender wasn't in her room. After all she could BARELY shoot a gun even when inkopolis life and our lives were at stake! I ran down to the battle arena and found Maya, Lauren, And Lavender all in a league! (Yes ik that you could only have a room of 2 or 4 but technically Lavender would just be watching so... I won't count it..) I joined in and waited for the next round. After the 4 mins have gone by, a tired and beaten up Maya and Lauren walked out. Then came Lavender, slurping on a drink, couldn't be happier! "Ughhhh, again!" Lauren growned. "Lavender, you wanna try HELPING this time!" Maya yelled. "It's not my fault! All I know is how to do homework!" "Well, how about you sit out this round. You could watch through spectator." Lavender nodded. Through the door behind us it opened up to 8 fully dressed in a school jersey from when the humans walked on land, and red high kicks. (Red sneakers...) We waved over to him. "Hey 8, you seem pretty good, how about joining us in a turf?" I called out. 8 smiled and nodded as well all walked on to the platform. It was,  Splatzones, in order to win you must ink the area inside the outlined region, and get the counter down from 100 to 0. The games begins and we all run out to the region. Maya already inked up the zone and we where in the lead as the timer started ticking. We all yelled a "BOYAH!" but right after we said anything, Maya was sniped. I yelled out. "EY, MY SENPAI BACK OFF!" and started to attack a different enemy with a squeezer. The zone had been taken. I turned around, but got sniped and letted our an "ouch..." We lost control and Lauren and 8 were fighting to the the zone back. But, as a lot of people SHOULD KNOW, if your 2 against 3.... your dead. And I was correct, by the time I made it back I watched both Lauren and 8 get either sniped or double teamed. "Kill the beast!" I yelled aiming at the snipers. 8 and Maya recaptured the zone and guarded it, since she and 8 were both great murders! (Yay....) Lauren was good at aiming so we had a fast root out. We swam up to enemy base and both charged at the sniper. "KILL THE BEAST" I yelled as we both were shot at. As we were splatted. The squid started to squid flop (a sign of disrespect) Lauren gasped. "OH NO YOU FREAKING DON'T!!! YOU DON'T FLOP JASON! NO BODY FLOPS JASON!!" She yelled out pulling on a Jason mask. We could hear Maya and 8 getting most of the kills, but the zone kept on going from "We Have Control." to saying "We Lost Control." "Uh Lauren, you aim for the sniper, we got the zone." I called out running to help the others out. We fend off till the timer ran out, but heard "STOP BULLYING ME!!!" being screamed from Lauren's lungs.  The points were added up and we earned our prize money. Maya and Lauren ran towards the shops and 8 and I laughed. We walked around and I waved bye to 8 as he walked back towards Pearl and Marinas stage set. As soon as I headed back, I noticed the same inkling with the charger. It was the fricken squid flopper! I wanted revenge and started to walk up to him. "EY! Remember me?!" I yelled. "The noob from the rank? Pfff, yeah I remember, I splatted you like 20 times!" He laughed. "What makes you think it's ok TO FLOP A SQUID!?" "So..." My head started to twitch, did he just say "So" to me? I bashed him against the wall. "That's just shameful!! No wonder your face is covered!! It's from all the L's you've taken!! Well guess what!! I wanna rematch!" He shrugged, and 8 popped out from the corner and held out shwaffles. I smiled but the squid pulled out a sniper and aimed at his head. "OCTOLING!" He yelled out. Nobody cared but I put down the sniper. "No weapons in the lobby!" 8 dropped what he was holding and swam off fast. How dare he scare my friend! He just suffered through so much! "What's your name?" I said turning back. "Call me sniper..." "Well Sniper, Camp Trigger Fish. at 5!" I growled and walked away to the apartments. "Senpai..." "Yes?" "Somebody squid flopped me..." Maya loaded up her Blaster. "Who.." I explained everything I knew and soon enough we arrived at Camp Trigger Fish. Everyone was geared up, and Lauren had instead had her Jason Mask on. The round bagan, and it was only him vs 4 of us. After multiple times of dieing, he killed Maya and flopped her. Maya screamed. When she respawned, she alright had her special up. She pulled out a Kraken and started to charge at him. "WAIT THATS ILLEGAL-" snipered yelled. "WHERE ARE MY SHELDON STICKS?!" He continued. I went to the side and pointed up. He looked up only to see Lauren aiming a blaster directly at his face, only to blast him seconds after and flopped. We all hid in our ink and backed him up into a corner after he respawn. 8 came right up and Lauren blast his gun away. Before sniper could reach it, 8 kicked the gun into the water. Sniper held his arms in front of his face but felt nothing, he looked up to see 8 holding his hand out. Instead of grabbing his hand, he grabbed the gun and aimed at him. "OH L NAH!" I yelled and swung my roller at him. 8 sighed and the round was over. We all returned at the lobby. "Good game." sniper said holding his hand out. I was a forgive and forget- kinda person, and shaked it saying "Good Game." He looked over at 8 and shoke his hand to. "Your safe... for now.... I'm watching you.." sniper said glaring at 8. "Well I lost, anyone up for food?" We all screamed and ran to the food truck. "LAST ONE THIER GETS THIER FOOD LAST!"
