Escapeing (Part 1)

"Hey, wait!" CQ called out from behind. Take this as a way back to the promise land." CQ held out octo shades, and 8 grabbed them with caution. "Also take this, it's only 1 but." CQ again handed us another gift, but it was a button. Lavender grabbed the button kinda curiously, but held back. "Maya here's yours," He handed Maya a different kind of blaster, one that I didn't see in shops. "Uhhh thanks?" Maya said walking back. Lauren stood in front now, and he handed her what looked like a small packet, and a bubble, and whispered "I heard you like pranks." Lauren gave an evil kinda laugh and ran off. Olive stepped up, and was handed one of the instant shields from the old plaza. She ran off to meet with the others, then came me. "Oh, you. Here's your gift, and good luck with the surface." He handed out what looked like a ink strike special. I thanked him and ran up to see the telephone shoot electricity towards the other pieces. One of the peices floated on top of the telephone, and he came back up and headed on top of the machine. "Step right up! Don't be shy, for the promise land awaits!" The telephone boomed. "Yahoo! Next stop the promise land!" Captain Cuttlefish cheered. We all stepped inside the machine. It was kinda cramped, but we managed to all fit inside. "Uhh Marina, dose that machine kinda look, off?" Pearl mumbled through the radio. "Yeah, wait.... is that a blender!?" "Ingredients contained. Reforming mater." The telephone stated like it was AN ACTUAL MACHINE!!! The "roof" (aka blades) started to spin faster, and the floor started moving up. Everyone started screaming, Lauren tried banging on the glass, me snd 8 tried to stop the floor from closing in on us, Olive and Lavender started to cry out "I DON'T WANNA DIE!!" And Maya started yelling "PEARL MARINA, DO SOMETHING!" "QUICK MARINA, DO SOMETHING OR THIER GONNA GET SMOOTHIED!!" Pearl started screaming. "U-UH IM SENDING A DISTRESS SIGNAL!" Marina panicked. "A DISTRESSED SIGNAL?!!?? WE BROKE IN HERE CAUSE OF A DUMB DARE! NO ONES GONNA COME!!" I yelled loosening my grip on trying to avoid the blades over head. 8 looked like he was having none of it and took out his button and pressed it. Quickly his bag filled up with ink and blasted the blender apart sending us all crashing onto the floor. "Owwww," I growned, getting back on my feet. "Maybe next time a little warning." I looked at everyone else, then looked up. It seems that 1 of the pieces broke through the roof. "How does that even happen!?" I kept thinking. "Phew that was close, y'all ok down their?" Pearl sighed. "All clear, but the telephone isn't." Cap'n replied. "Well, you guys should jump through that hole over there." Marina suggested. "You guys go ahead, I'll Catch up!" Cap'n sighed. We all nodded and headed on up.   When I got their I didn't see anyone, I had no weapon, and I felt alone. "Looks like you over jumped, everyone did! Well I hear octarians in the distance, so everyone turn off your mic, and turn it on once your past." Marina replied. I turned off my mic and slowly but surely, I swam through the ink to my goal without being noticed. Once I logged back on the mic, everyone was online but Olive. "Everyone ok?" I asked. "Yeah, but now we got parkour!" Lauren sighed. "Cmon let's just get outta here!" Maya replied. "Stop whining!" "Shut up!" "Ey! No fighting now! This can wait later!" I yelled breaking up Lauren and Maya. I turned the corner to see all kinds of walls falling down into the water, with more octotroopers gaurding. I got by pretty easy, but on Lauren's mic, I heard a yell. "Lauren? LAUREN! COME IN!" Marina yelled. Her mic went offline. "What's going on Marina!?" Pearl stammered. "Yeah! What happened to her!" Maya cried out. "Her mic went offline, and I can't seem to get through to her!" "WELL FIX IT THEN!" Me and maya yelled. Maya, Lavender,8, and I were the last on the call. We enter through the next stage. "Alright you should all find a weapon!" Pearl said confidently. "Their any life in ya yet?" Captain Cuttlefish asked. "What's that Cap?" Pearl asked. "Nothing guess I just heard something." I tricked the octarian into giving me my weapons and we all descended to the next stage. "Lasers!?" We all yelled in harmony. "You know what I don't mind going mission impossible!" Maya spoke with pride. I managed to dodge the first few and climbed up to see a button, and like the temptation I had, I pressed  it, unleashing moving lasers. "Woah!" I yelled a bit right before I submerged into the ink."That was close!" I hit the button again since it was my only option, and it unleashed another pair, in which I dodged easily. I hit the button 1 last time to see a laser that I could squid under or jump over. I thought fast and inked the wall as I dashed to escape thiwall of death. Sadly, not everyone one though fast, for on the mic I heard Lavender's horrific scream, right before her mic cut off. "We lost Lavender!" Marina sighed. Through the mic of Captain cuttle we heard someone yell. "You RUINED EVERYTHING! 8 HOW COULD YOU TOLERATE THESE PEOPLE?!" "HEY WHAT ARE YOU- AHHH-" Captain Cuttlefish's scream was cut off as well as his mic. "Olive,Lauren,Lavender, and now Captain to!? What's going on here!" Pearl pouted. "Wait I'm picking up an energy source, it's just a little further!" Marina added. I super jumped up to the next floor. "Collect me all 8 data points!" Marina suggested, and so we did. To my surprise everything had to be done on an inkjet (kinda hard to use) so, the hardness scale was pretty high. I was on my 6th data point when I heard Maya scream over and over, until her mic disconnected. "MAYA WHAT HAPPENED? SENPAI!-" "Wait Maya's your senpai?" Pearl asked. The room got silenced, even the octarians looked at me weird. "... It's a joke..." I sighed as I got back to business and started to collect the final piece. Right as I did, a glowing orb flew through the other side of the stage. "That's the power orb" Marina yelled. "After it! Pearl chanted. I super jumped again feeling lonely as ever. All of my friends sounded like they needed me but I couldn't help. I guess in a way their my only reason why I tracked on. I found myself in a new location, with the power orb in front of me. Guide the orb to the other side without it dieing or yourself dieing. Suddenly all of those times in girl power came rushing in my head. "You got this!" Pearl cheered trying to send some courage. I started to get through maybe half way before everything went wrong. I finally got past the sprinklers only to go against a sniper. Though sadly it was to late and he shot the power orb sending me off into the void. I blacked out. "Kitty! Kitty! BOW-WOWZERS!" Maya yelled. I instantly got up. I looked around to notice I was in a glass tube like the rest of my friends, hands tied and mics were crushed on the ground. In the distance I saw 8, riding on an ink rail towards us. I started yelling but no luck. As soon as she stepped on the platform a mysterious neon blue inkling stood at the top. I couldn't believe my eyes. "MISTY!?!!??"
