Chapter 14

'The bitch decided to pretend she has lost her memory, does she think they are fools to believe her silly lie?'

Le Liuli had a bad mood after seeing her stepsister.  Knowing that without her thick make-up and slutty clothes, she manage to look even more beautiful than her. She can't accept the fact that Le Xiao did not try so hard to be beautiful while she herself had to book countless appointments to various derma clinic just to look like what she is right now.

Le Liuli heart can't continue enjoying the mindless gossip of her friends while knowing that her bitch of a sister is having a peaceful moment. An idea struck her mind, after telling her two friends that she will go to the restroom for a bit, she stood up and discreetly followed a waiter.

After a while Le Xiao and Mao decided to head home, but before she can even fully stand from her seat, a super-hot coffee was spilled on her right arm and right chest. She screamed from the shock and pain, and her eyes automatically shed tears due to the hotness.

Mao who witness this felt bad for her so she admonished the waiter angrily while attempting to help Le Xiao  The waiter kneeled on the floor without looking at them and apologized profusely. She eventually drag Le Xiao to the café's restroom to soak her arms in water. After a few minutes, the manager who knew that the customer is the infamous daughter of Le Zhao decided to side with his employee right away.

'Aiyo, why is this brat here and causing trouble?' The manager thought irritably. He wanted so badly to just throw the both of them outside his café already, but knowing that this woman is still the daughter of Le Zhao he still has to give face. After all, many famous personalities goes to this branch and it would be bad for the business if he decides to publicly side with the waiter.

"Miss Le, I apologize for what my waiter did. Rest assured I will give justice to what happened to you. I also took the liberty of calling the cab to bring you to the hospital and our café will personally settle the hospital bill" The manager said amiably, but inside, his heart is aching for the hospital expense. Who told this girl to stand up coincidentally with the waiter passing by her?

"Th-thank you" With her tears still flowing freely, Le Xiao muttered. She slowly headed out with Mao by her side who was looking at her with concern while holding all the things they bought earlier.

The customers felt pity in their hearts while looking at the injured girl, but when some of them heard that the girl's name is Le Xiao,  they immediately thought it was probably another act of hers to gain attention.

Le Liuli who witnessed everything had an evil smile on her face. She hoped that the water is hot enough to cause a second-degree burn. A moment later, she decided to leave early and go to her sister and tell her the things that happened.
