Just Another Cliché Transmigration Story (JACTS)

Chapter 17

Le Xiao is alone in the kitchen trying to cook breakfast for her and Zhu Feng. A few days ago, she asked Mao to teach her how to cook and feeling helpless from Le Xiao's persuasion, Mao taught her how to cook scrambled eggs, fried rice and bacon. She practice for two days before getting the hang of it and is now trying to make something for Zhu Feng since he had taken care of her the past few days especially after the little accident in Bloom Café.

Le Xiao purposely woke up at 3 am to prepare since Zhu Feng usually wakes up at 6. She burnt the first batch of eggs that she tried to make so she made another batch, the fried rice has some parts that were overcooked and some parts that were uncooked so she made another batch too. The bacon were salty but she thought that it was really the natural taste of it so she left it at that.

Sometime before six, Le Xiao didn't notice the tall figure behind her and was startled for a moment when she felt the arms of a man on her waist and a strong chest on her back. She looked up to see Zhu Feng who has a scruffy appearance. It seems that the man looked for her right away right after waking up. He was looking at her with a frown marring his eyebrows as if trying to understand what she is trying to do so early in the morning.

"Ahm, are you hungry?" She asked still looking at him with her big eyes full of expectation. Zhu Feng noticed the little sweat on her forehead and concluded that she might have been in the kitchen for quite a while. He nodded lazily before dropping his head and planting kisses on her neck.

Le Xiao still isn't used to his clinginess even though he is doing it every day and in every chance he got ever since she woke up in this world. He also took the liberty of moving some of his things into her apartment and live with her as if it was an obvious thing for the people around them. Without her knowledge, he also had his own place renovated a bit to add some feminine touch for his baby. He asked his employee to buy her things like clothes and other necessities as well and had them put in his apartment. He will ask her to move in with him one of these days, completely disregarding the fact that technically they are already living in together.

Le Xiao's face was red as tomato after his kisses and she hastily removed his hand to put the food on the dining table.

Zhu Feng looked at the food in front of him. It is obvious that Le Xiao did not know how cook from the uneven colors of the food - he tried the bacon first and was assaulted by the very salty taste of it, so he switched to the rice and almost choke from the hardness and softness of it. He could not understand what she did why it turned out to be so bad so he glance at her to tell her never to cook again but saw a very expectant and nervous look. He quickly look at the eggs that she prepared and knew that it would be a bad decision if he eats it.

Although his face maintained a cold and aloof look, inside he was brimming with satisfaction because his woman is taking the initiative to please him and from looking at her sweaty and flushed face, it was evident that she made a lot of effort to cook for him. His heart swelled from the thought that his woman is trying to make him happy, however, her food should really not be eaten by a human or else they will suffer a bad diarrhea.

After tasting the bacon and the so called fried rice, he put down the spoon and fork and said "It is delicious"

He watched as her red lips split into grin and her full face brightened from his comment. Le Xiao sat down right away and was about to put food on her own plate and eat when Zhu Feng grabbed her and carried her bridal style to the bedroom.

"But you're more delicious" Zhu Feng said and took her lips quickly. He savored her sweetness again and bit her lips lightly before stopping himself. "Take a shower. We will go to the office right now"

Le Xiao who was puzzled at first, immediately flushed red and when his words registered in her mind, she speedily ran to the shower. She heard from Mao that the previous owner of this body used to go to his office a lot, and she thought that maybe his office had a lot of fun stuff because if not, why would the previous soul go there in the first place?

It did not occur in the little bunny's brain that the previous soul was just love-struck by a certain someone. So with her mind filled with possible scenarios of fun things to do, she completely forgotten that she especially woke up early to cook food for the big bad wolf and he hadn't even really ate but just had a taste of bacon and rice.

Zhu Feng on the other hand unconsciously smiled. He had evaded a problem without hurting the feelings of his baby girl. Feeling satisfied with himself, he texted Lao Tsu to hire a highly trained chef that can teach Le Xiao every Saturday starting next week. That way, he will not suffer in the future because of diarrhea and he will be able to enjoy being pampered.
