Just Another Cliché Transmigration Story (JACTS)

Chapter18

The employees at Feng Group had a very interesting day – They woke up that morning expecting that it'll be another uneventful but fulfilling day at work, but who would have thought that they're in for a surprise all throughout the day.

As usual, they saw their enigmatic and handsome president coming out of his car. Although he is cold and ruthless, he is known as the king of business because of his countless successful investments and his unusual business strategies even though he is still 25 years old. Because of this, he had amass followers and admirers from both women and men.

The employees of Feng Group knew that their boss always comes to work at 7:30 in the morning, and even though their work doesn't start at 8:30, almost all employees chose to come to work early every day to see their God descending from his car and hoping to get noticed by him. Seeing him finally arrived, everyone arranged their clothes. The women hurriedly reapplied their lipsticks and combed their already neat and gorgeous hair. They also made sure that they had prepared the most inviting yet soft smile on their lips just in case. The men on the other hand, observed the president's attire and style and mentally put it on their minds to see if they can imitate it the following day. They also sort their already tidy necktie and made sure to puff out their chess and stand tall.

They did this every day and even though they were not noticed by the president at all, they still do it. It is enough for them to see him every morning.

After a moment of waiting, their eyes almost popped out of their sockets and their jaw's dropped. The ruthless president gently held the hand of a young lady out of the car and once she was completely out, he then swiftly grabbed her to his side and secured her with his arm on her waist looking like he is making sure that she will not be able to run away. He still has a cold look on his face but his eyes held a trace of warmth and his lips was slightly curved upwards.

The young lady by his side is wearing a simple flowy knee length pink dress with sleeves covering both of her arms. She paired the dress with a simple white doll shoes with a pink ribbon on top of it. The obvious difference in physique between her and the man holding her waist made her slender frame stand out. When she smiled, the male employees who were present can't help but feel their hearts skip a beat, however, they were broken out of their trance immediately when the man beside her overbearingly lifted her chin to look at him. The breath-taking lady said something to their president which made him kiss her nose and then he led her to the private elevator without even glancing at anyone.

Everyone who witnessed the scene was so shocked that none of them moved even though 5 minutes have already passed since the president went to his private elevator. All of them have two thoughts, 'Is that really the president? The God Zhu Feng?' and 'Is the world ending?'

Meanwhile, after 3 hours in Zhu Feng's office, two people are involved in a serious staring contest. None of the two are willing to give up even though it has been 30 minutes already since they started their accidental staring contest.

With puffed out cheeks and her brows furrowed, Le Xiao is determined to not lose. She felt totally cheated when she came with Zhu Feng, when he mentioned his bringing her to his office, she thought that there will actually be things to see and stuff to do. However, everything is just a white and grey with black accent expensive office furniture's with a ceiling to floor glass window overlooking the busy city of China. The entire office and building is really too immaculate that anyone can actually tell that the owner would be filthy rich and cold.

She feels like she is going to die out of boredom and she totally regrets coming with Zhu Feng. Since she came, all she did was watched Zhu Feng work. She tried asking him multiple times and tried going out only to be drag back by Zhu Feng and put her on his lap while he reads countless documents. When she ran out of patience and knowing full well that it's childish, she threw a tantrum at him by deliberately scattering the documents in his table until everything is out of order.

Instead of anger like what she has been expecting, all she got from Zhu Feng was his raised eyebrow and his unnerving stare. Le Xiao felt regret at first but remembering the reason why she childishly scattered the documents, she stood her ground and copying him, she raised her eyebrow as well and gave him a challenging stare. Thus, begin the accidental staring contest of the two.

Unbeknownst to Le Xiao,  Zhu Feng with his cold face and normal face expression is actually having fun at her expense all this time. He knew that she was bored and she regrets coming with him, and at first he wanted to do something for her to ease her boredom while he works, however upon noticing her expressions and restlessness, he can't help but tease her and wait observe her actions. When Le Xiao finally ran out of patience, he wanted to laugh at his adorable baby girl, but he restrained himself when he saw her bright eyes trying to give him a glare. Wanting to see more of her expressions, he lazily relaxed his sitting posture while holding her waist and staring at her.

Guys, so sorry! I know it took a while for me to update but I just got burnt out from work and school and decided to take a mini vacation from everything.
