Aura's eyes opened slowly, observing her surroundings before starting to panic. She wasn't in her room. She wasn't in her home. Her heartbeat grew faster as she questioned herself on how she got here. She went to get up but soon realized an arm was holding her in place. Her eyes widened and she looked over her shoulder, noticing a sleeping Roger. His eyes were fluttered shut and his chest rose up and down as he took in soft breaths. His mouth was slightly open but he didn't snore. Something in her mind clicked and she gasped. She had slept with Roger. She felt so stupid giving in so easily to him. She regretted everything. She pushed past the headache and removed his arm from her waist, sitting up on the single bed and slipping on her underwear. She didn't really focus on anything besides getting out of here. She found her dress laying on the floor and put it on as quickly as possible. She tiptoed as quietly as she could towards the door, opening it slowly and slipping out. She turned around to close the door before taking a quick look at Roger who laid on the bed, all relaxed with a slight smile on his face. She shut the door softly and turned around before gasping. At the dinner table sat Freddie dressed in a fancy bathrobe and a glass of champagne in hand while smiling evilly. Her hand rested on her chest as she breathed out, making Freddie laugh.
"Hello, beautiful!" He said quite loudly making her shush him.
"Is sleeping beauty asleep?" He asked, downing his drink before pouring himself another glass, bringing his feet to the table. Aura nodded slightly, unable to form words. Freddie's brown eyes met hers and his eyebrow lifted.
"Well come sit my darling! Let's chat." He baffled with a smile. She did as told and sat down next to Freddie. He offered her a drink but she politely declined it.
"I hope you don't expect anything from Roger after this. He tends to not call women back." Freddie said honestly.
"I hope he wasn't expecting anything from me, to be honest. This whole thing was a drunken mistake." She said with a quiet laugh making Freddie smile.
"You aren't the dating type?" He asked her, intrigued.
"Let's just say that my last relationship was chaotic. I loved the guy very much and I thought he did too but I guess not." Aura said sadly. Freddie's eyebrows furrowed.
"He ended up being gay?"
"No."She laughed.
"He cheated on me with someone close to my heart." She explained and Freddie nodded. They talked more during the following hour and got to know each other better. By the time they looked at the clock, it was already two AM. Aura grabbed her shoes, slipping them on and Freddie handed her a dark green jacket so she wouldn't get cold.
"Thank you. I'll give it back to you as soon as possible." She said while slipping it on. Freddie waved her off.
"Keep it. Me and Roger don't wear it." He said with a smile. She nodded and a couple of minutes later, left the building. There she stood outside at two AM waiting for the cab Freddie called for her while wearing the jacket of the guy she just slept with over her shoulders.
