The rain softly fell on the ground as Aura walked towards her workplace. It had been about a week since she slept with Roger and she had managed to avoid him and John all week, not wanting to talk about it. She ran a hand in her light Brown locks, moving the hair out of her face as she entered the small disc shop, the bell noticing her entrance. The girl who stood behind the cash register lifted her eyes and she smiled. Stella Jade was the only female friend Aura had. They met when Aura applied for her job, two years ago. They weren't as close as her and John but still pretty close. Stella had dark hair that fell to her shoulders and light brown eyes. She was very tall compared to Aura who was only 5'4.

"Hey, girl." Stella greeted, her smile never leaving her lips as she put her pencil down, leaving her silly doodles alone. Aura smiled back, removing her coat and putting it on the counter while she tied her hair in a loose pony tail.

"Hey, Stella!" She smiled back.

"How was the concert last week?" She asked curiously since she had liked the bands previous album. Aura froze for a second.

"Oh um, it was pretty good. Nice fellas." She answered, not convincing at all. Stella raised her brow in confusion.

"That's it? How did they play? Was it epic- oh my gosh you slept with one of them!" She gasped making Aura's eyes widen. She shook her head violently, moving her hands motioning 'NO'. Stella laughed at her, knowing she was lying and Aura closed her eyes in defeat.

"Who was it?" She asked eagerly and Aura sighed, not answering.

"Come on tell me!" She was getting impatient.

"I'm not telling you anything!" Aura said, grabbing a box of vinyl and started walking towards the rock section, trying to ignore her annoyed friend who followed her like a lost puppy. The short brunette started placing The Beatles records at the right place. Stella hummed before running to the back and grabbing something. Aura laughed and continued placing stuff around when Stella came back with Queen's record. She opened it and her friend looked at her actions curiously.

"It's here somewhere just give me a minute." She mumbled furiously, making Aura laugh. She found what seemed to be a picture of the band that they had signed in the Pocket of the vinyl. Aura remembers John telling her that they gave some records to shops to try and get publicity and signed them all to be polite. She cursed quietly and Stella grinned.

"I don't think you slept with John so I'm crossing him out." The tall one said and then pointed to Freddie on the picture.

"Was it with the singer?" She asked and Aura shook her head, turning around and putting more records on the shelf.

"Tell me it wasn't that tall handsome one with the hair." She asked hopefully, looking at Brian while smiling. Aura noticed and smirked.

"Someone has a crush on Brian!" She nudged her while laughing and Stella blushed.

"Hey don't change the subject! Wait! That means you slept with blondie over there." She said pointing to the drummer, observing him before nodding happily. Aura sighed and nodded, knowing that Stella would have figured it out anyways.

"Oh my god-" Before She could finish she was cut off by the sound of the bell at the front door.

"This conversation isn't over." She said before walking to the back of the store so she could start her break. Aura rolled her eyes and chuckled. She put the box away turning towards the door to greet the customer before stopping in her tracks.

"Hello, how can I help you- Oh hey Brian!" She said surprised and nervous. He smiled brightly and walked towards her, his hair bouncing slightly and his eyes sparkling.

"Hello, Aura! How are you, dear?" He asked when he got to her, looking down at her. She took notice of his slightly fancy attire and raised a brow.

"I'm doing quite alright. Are you going to a Gala or something? At 3 PM?" She said looking at the clock on the wall and Brian chuckled. He looked down and smiled.

"We got a pretty big pay at our last gig and I thought I'd buy myself some expensive clothing. She nodded and laughed.

"It looks good on you." She admitted while eyeing him up and down, making him blush.

"So how can I help you today?" She asked after a moment or two. Brian glanced around the store, trying to find something but failing.

"Yes, I'm looking for My Generation by The Who. I broke my previous record by accident, do you happy to have a copy?" He asked very politely and she nodded. He followed her closely as she searched for it. His eyes softened when he saw her smile when she found it. She grabbed it and handed him the record with a smile.

"There you go." She softly said and he took it from her, his fingers grazing hers which ran a shiver down her spine. His eyes met hers and she bit her lip.

"Great! How much do I owe you?" He asked as they walked towards the cash register, reaching for his wallet. She shook her head and pushed his hand away when he pulled out his wallet.

"Just take it." She smiles and he furrowed his brows.

"I simply cannot-"

"It's fine okay. Take it alright?" She asked hopefully and he frowned, putting his wallet away. She put the record in a bag and handed it to him.

"How about I repay you with dinner?" He asked with a small smile. She blushed and shook her head again.

"Oh come on! I insist! My treat alright?" He added, leaning on the counter slightly. She chuckled.

"You pay your side and I'll pay mine alright?" She reasoned. He laughed and nodded, getting ready to leave.

"Alright. I'll call you tonight." He said and left with a smile. She smiled back but was confused. For one thing, he doesn't have her number. Another thing is that she just agreed to go out with him. And the third thing is she doesn't know why but she's excited to see him again.
