Chapter 1.A kind hearted soul and an unknown beast.

Haku's pov
I looked down at the small, spiky haired ninja below me. His eyes were filled with fierce determination..and frustration at the same time, yet they were sky blue ,and had a gentle look to them.
It was clear to me that while this child had vowed to avenge the death of his friend, he had no intention of carrying out murder at all, nor was the boy capable of this..not yet anyway..
Observing the young man in battle, I could tell that he was a lot like me..deep down, even though he hid this part of his personality by putting on a tough facade most of the time..in reality..I could see that young Naruto was gentle, kind and sympathetic with his enemy...
 and..the latter trait was not at all what a true ninja should display... My master...Zabuza taught me that...and yet..I was...and still am, guilty of this to this day...I lowered my dark brown eyes and looked sadly at the boy.
I did not want to kill the child at all..he had a lot of potential..and his life ahead of him...but..I vowed to myself ..and to My Master that I'd...protect him......by any means necessary..even at the cost of my own life....but the boy...Naruto had nothing to do with it.....
I felt so many conflicting emotions....I gasped.. "What should I do...? "
"Naruto..."
The young blonde boy looked into my sad brown eyes in surprise ...
"Kill me..."
Naruto's eyes widened... and he looked horrified..

Naruto's POV
Wait..what? What the heck? I thought to myself.. Did he really say what I thought he said...believe it...does he really want to die just because I beat him..? If so...then that's a stupid attitude to have...
The look in his eyes was pretty serious and sad..and I could tell by this that he was dead serious about what he had just stated...
 He really wants me to...But how can I? After hearing his backstory with his parents and that Zabuza..and he's only a few years older than I am..and he doesn't seem to be such a bad guy after all...
I didn't know what to do...

Toshiro's POV
"I am Toshiro Hitsugaya, the captain of squad ten of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads of the soul society.. I will not tolerate nonsense... and childishness on missions in the world of the living that could harm our squad's reputation.. Is that understood...Rangiku..? No shopping or flirting with men.." I glared at my orange haired Luitenant...
Rangiku laughed , "Sorry captain, but it couldn't be helped..."
I looked away..."Well... be grateful it was I who found out about this first before another captain..like Captain Kurotsuchi for instance.." I shuddered at the thought..if he had ...goodness knows what would've happened..he'd probably want to do experiments on her...
"Yeah, well we know what he's like.." said my lazy lieutenant, stretching her arms out..
Mayuri Kurotsuchi's POV
"Ooh... what do we have here?...a injured ,but alive female specimen.. I must experiment on her at once!"..I thought to myself, excitedly.. "Nemu!" I yelled..."Damn it...where is that girl when you need her??!...NEMUUUUUUUUUU! COME HERE IMMEDIATELY"
Toshiro's pov
I narrowed my eyes "Oh..and where is Momo? Is she doing alright..? I don't know whether you were there when she was attacked by that hollow...I heard even her strongest kido didn't work.."
If she was in a death like state or dead ...I would never forgive myself I thought to myself anxiously...I want to be able to protect her...but...I've failed so many times....damn...
I must've spaced out, because the next thing I felt was Rangiku tapping me violently on the shoulder...
"Sorry.."
She smiled gently "Don't worry about it, Captain.... I'm sure she'll make a full recovery"...
" Good..thank you...Rangiku.. " 
I walked out of the office I was in and headed to see Momo...I really felt helpless...I've never been able to protect her..
Rangiku's POV
Oh boy..I thought to myself ...the captain seemed to be pretty worried...he didn't seem to be bothered to scold me that much....and the thing that attacked Momo.. It didn't look like a hollow at all...
I decided I would talk to him about the nature of the hollow or whatever it was..later..

Haku's POV
I was fighting against Naruto..I decided I would put up a fight before I died, however...my chakra had nearly reached it's limit..
Suddenly, through the fog Master Zabuza created, I saw that Zabuza was surrounded by hounds which had their fangs pierced in his arms and legs...My Master was bleeding terribly and was in a really bad state..
