"Okay. I suppose one date will be fine."

Yugi's stood up straight and held a shine in his eyes that made you blush deeper. A wing bent down to partly hide your face.

"But, just this once and I can't be out too late and um..." You fidgeted were you stood since you knew that this was a bad idea, but like the idea of spending more time with Yugi.

"Don't worry Y/N. By your wings and what day, it is I'm guessing you have somewhere else to be."

You put your hands to your cheeks as you were reminded what day it was. You pulled your wings back and folded them on your back till they disappeared.

"You got to promise not to tell anyone. I can get in big trouble- "

"I won't tell. I doubt anyone would believe me. Ow! Hey!" Yugi looked down at the kitten in his hands and laughed saying. "We better find food for this little guy and his siblings or they're going to think fingers are a source of food."

You laughed with him and help Yugi gathered the kittens safely into his backpack. The two of you walked to the closest store and bought wet kitten food and some scent free baby wipes to clean them. While in the store Yugi asked you to pick out a few snacks to take back to his house. You looked through the shelfs to see what there was not noticing Yugi sneaking off to buy something for you. After buying your items the two of you headed for his house. Yugi quickly introduced you to his grandfather, who had to lightly tease his grandson for bringing a pretty girl home on Valentines day, then led you upstairs to his bedroom.

There the two of you fed the kittens and made a safe space for them. Yugi went downstairs to ask his grandpa for a box tray and old newspapers to make a litter box with. The kittens played around as you looked around the room and noted all the games and toys he kept on his shelves. You never been in a human's bedroom before, especially a boy's room but all the trinkets he had reminded you of your own room back home on Mount Olympus. "They're probably wondering why I'm not back yet." You said out loud. The kittens were rolling around on the floor when the sound of running up the stairs made them scattered into the pile of towels and blankets used to make their nest. You glance over your shoulder and watch Yugi enter the room with a used duel monsters theme box to hold card packs in his hands filled with shredded paper.

"This should do the trick." He said place the box down and putting the kittens in it to show them that this is where the bathroom was. You giggled as the kittens scampered away from his hands and tried to explore their new space.

"I like your home Yugi." You said sitting back on your legs "It's cozy."

"Thanks, oh get back here you, my hands are not food or toys." Yugi said as he tried reaching  for the kitten who liked biting fingers. It played with his fingers by pawing at them then pounced on the boy's hand to bite at it playfully and kicking at it with its back paws. You giggled at Yugi's shock reaction and the kittens all turned to see what their brother was up too.

"Fine, you little scamp, you win this one. I just have to lay down more paper." Yugi said with a sigh of defeat. You smiled at him and reached for the kitten and gently took him off Yugi's hand. "Scamp, I like that name." You commented.  The little ball of fuzz purred in your hold, but you set him down to go play with his siblings.

Yugi watched you as you watched the kittens play with string and a ping-pong ball you found. The feeling of love he had towards was overwhelming, but he grounded himself, knowing that the feeling due to an outside force. Still, he like the add boldness it gave him. It was exciting to have a girl he had just meet in his room. Asking her out. Kissing her... He blushed and turned to cough when he remember that he had his first kiss with you, a total stranger. "How dangerous this magic is!"
