"Sorry, but this was never suppose to happen." You said to him.

You took off into the air ignoring his calls to you. "This is for the best." You told yourself as a tears trailed behind you. You hope that once you made back home to Mount Olympus you could get the spell removed and go back to life as usual. "Maybe, I can send someone to remove the curse from him too. Or I could just let it stay. It's not like we'll ever see each other again and there is always next year. Maybe he'll fall for someone else."

You pondered all this as you flew over a forest but was then knocked out of the sky by an unseen force and crushed through the trees below. Cries of pain fell from your mouth as your wings hit each branch on the way down. "My wings! They break!"

Finally you hit the ground and sat up to check to see how badly your white wings were damage. I winced at the pain as you moved them but was relief to see that they were permanently harmed. "What caused me to fall out of the sky in the first place? "

"So, you think you just screw up like that and run for it?"

The voice of the man you knew fairly well made you sit still. Dread filled your body when you then heard the man's wings give a single flap, sending a razor cold wind at you, cutting your skin and feathers. "I don't even know how to fix this. That boy you got pricked is a special case so doing away with him won't work. How to make you pay?"

"Please," you said not daring to turn and face Eros, leader of the cupids, "I didn't mean for it to happen."

Eros crossed his arms and sighed, hating that he wasn't as cruel as his mother since that trait would have been handy right now. He always though you were cute and felt that the pain he cause you should be enough, but there was no way is would be for his mother. What to do?

"Look Y/N, cause I'm a nice guy I'm going to give you two choices. You can go back and finish what you started or you can do away with the guy."

"What? Do away with him? But he is a spirit attach to that boy, I can't kill an innocent person." You said turning around to the love god.

"I know, that is why you will steal the puzzle and toss it into a river." He explained. Your eyes widened at the choices presented to you and before you could protest he narrowed his gaze at you and command you to chose.
