"Why not?" I asked, my voice slightly whiny.

"Because if you go on a mission, then Cash goes on a mission." Dad replied strictly. It's before school on Friday. I groaned, running a hand through my hair.

"What if we just don't tell him?" I tried.

"Sweetheart, the boy has a crush on you. It's obvious. And you clearly like him too. He wants to be around you."

"Why can't Cash come then?"

"He's untrained and his siblings are agents. It takes months to train and he's not supposed to know about his siblings. Especially now that Maverick's job is to watch and protect his brother. Just like you're not supposed to say that you're protecting him as well." I sighed deeply, running my hand through my hair once again. I gave him a gentle hug then left the house. I was about to get in my car when a motorcycle pulled up in front of me. I jumped back, ready to kick some ass. The person on the bike pulled off their helmet. A head of half-blonde hair was revealed. I bit my lip and shook my head. I crossed my arms over my chest then cocked my hip, shifting my weight to one side.

"Did I scare you?" Cash asked, his striking blue eyes staring at me playfully.

"A little." I hissed. I smirked at him then walked over to the bike. He turned it off. One of his hands rested on my waist, the other still on one of the handles. "I thought I was driving."

"I feel okay to drive. I thought I'd take you to school instead." He grinned up at me. I rolled my eyes. "Hop on." I shook my head in disagreement. "Are you scared?"

"No. I want to drive."

"Uh, no. My bike, my rules." I leant down, brushing my lips against his. His breath hitched ever so slightly.

"Do you not trust me?"

"N-Not neccisarily." He stuttered. He's struggling to keep from kissing me. I heard a door open and close, but I didn't move.

"You might want to watch it there, Buddy." One of my brother's said. Cash jumped up, nearly falling off his bike. His hand on my waist retracted itself.

"I wasn't-"

"She's pretty convincing." Xander continued, cutting Cash off. I turned and scowled at my eldest brother.

"I could've gotten my way." I muttered. Xander chuckled.

"Don't fall for her charm. She's pretty great at using her talents to get what she wants. Don't let her be bossing you around." Xavier chipped in. I sighed. I lifted up my finger and twirled my keys on it.

"Fine." I huffed. I walked over to my car. I unlocked it then opened the driver's side door. I got in. I pushed the key into the ignition before turning it and starting the car. I flipped all of the boys then sped out of my own driveway.

I stood from leaning on my car as Cash pulled in beside me. "You're a bitch." He muttered. I smirked as my response. He got off his bike then backed me against my car. I let him do so even though I could take him down right here. "I'm going to kiss you in public." He growled. My eyebrows rose in surprise. "My little jump when your brother came out embarrassed me so this is me redeeming myself." Before I could respond, Cash cupped the back of my head with one hand and the other resting on my hip as he pushed his lips on mine. I swiftly reacted, kissing him back. One of my arms wrapped around the back of his neck and then my other hand rested on his arm that's near my face. People whooped and hollered. Cash went to pulled back, but I quickly pulled my arm closer which kept his lips on mine. I let the kiss fall when we were both needing air. Cash held me close to his body. I looked into his blue eyes, a gentle smirk on my face. I heard that Cash played with girls' hearts and while he is that rare mixture of hot and cute, I'm not built to play other people's games. I like to make the rules. I'm the one who gets close then pulls away. Which is what I do now. I give Cash a gentle kiss on the cheek then walked away. I flicked my hair off my shoulder then waved him away, swinging my hips as I walked.
