Woken unceremoniously from a wonderful dream by my agonizing alarm clock, I tumbled out of bed and slammed my hand down on the snooze button. I stood on my toes and yawned, raising my arms above my head to stretch. Today was going to be an exciting new adventure!
Slipping out of my room quietly and turning on my bedside lamp, I sneakily tiptoe outside my brother's room, pressing my ear against his bedroom door; I could hear his monstrous snoring from here. Guess I have to wake him up in my own sweet and sisterly way.
I walk into my bathroom and grab a small washcloth from the sink cupboard. Lightly running the water, I soak the washcloth, before turning off the tap and wringing the cloth tight, winding it around my fist. I sneak back into my rat-faced brother's room and, unraveling the cloth, whip it across his chest.
He shrieks girlishly, immediately woken up. "My chest!" he cries, cradling his chest with both of his hands, "That really hurt! Quit doing that!"
I laughed, dashing out of his room, quickly tossing the damp cloth back at him. "Wake up loser we gotta go to school!" I run back into my room and rake a hairbrush through my hair before dashing into the bathroom and brushing my teeth before my brother beat me to it.
I get back into my room and start to get ready. I grab a dark green sweater with red and yellow squares and put that on along with light blue jeans that I tucked the shirt into. I grab some red and yellow striped socks and gray shoes and put them on as well:
