Hours prior
"I need into the treasury room. And thanks to the meeting and my continuous shakes of nausea makes a good cover for me to get my stuff. I'm going to do what I do best!" Daera whispered to himself as he shimmied across the outer wall of the castle. Heights never truly bothered him when it came to what he did best. It was more of the thrill from stealing things than the thrill of climbing. It was only a small annoyance to him yet if made him feel free. To the order of being a thief there is always a code to go by. And the rules are jest. And are almost always followed ever since the day he had started stealing.
The thieves guild of Bàgłivar had their rules. They are jest and always to be obeyed till the guild is wiped off the streets of the sandy city. They are notoriously known and one of the most respected out of the area. While those thieves who lived within Gondar were wiped out through Kaligar's fear. It was for something more than his treasure and gold that his men had plundered out of lustfulness and greed. Only to have it inspected by Kalïgar himself, like he were looking for something in particular.
The rules varies from never committing murder unless needed, always steal from those who deserve to be stolen from (Rich, business owners, corruptive people, etc.) and the rules continue. Yet being a thief is and was never easy for Daera. For it proved a worthy life challenge to do such a thing and move against the king as an inside man. The only thief in Gondar to steal from him. His businesses, banks, even his beloved mine. The only problem he had was the Kings elf brother who never kept his eye off of him. The thought of what happened to the right hand the few hours ago seemed to stick to his mind like honey. Yet his mind rejected remembering the red pendant he had found a week ago.
"If I remember correctly the interior this window should lead straight into the treasury room.." He said as he pulled himself up upon the ledge. Using the bars on the window to support himself and keep him from falling as he gently shook them to feel the bars strength. How thick and how loose it was. When he did shake them one of the bars broke loose in his hand. Leaving a small enough gap for him to slip through as he examined the glowing room filled with goblets made of gold, rubies and sapphires littered the counters. Some chairs were even covered in the shiny metal. Yet non of it seemed remotely touched. His face had shined brightly before yet not as bright as he was within that chamber. His eyes sparkled with lust yer shook it off as his eyes met the table within the middle of the room. His clothing, armor, and mask was surrounded by at least three guards, Kałïki, and Kalïgar looming over the items they had just collected. It was the early morning at the time as well. The sun barely touching the castle as the king picked up the wood mask shrouded in a unique design of gold as he placed the mask up to his face.
"Odd.. Why would a merchant hold stuff like this?" Kalïgar asked as he removed the mask. Placing it on the table at his eyes met his dagger. The sheath was nothing special, leather with a small design stitched into it. Yet the blade itself seemed to have a unique look to it. Jagged and sharp as the sharp teeth attached to the blade glistened as Daera watched him examine, throughly look through everything to every last detail as he turned to face the guard who had found the items and smiled." You have done us a serves." He said as he turned his back to them. Kalïgar turning his back to them as Kałïki took his place next to him. Only just slightly slower before the guards who seized Daera's stuff looked at each other before their gaze turned back to Kalïgar.
