In a world where everyone has not just super powers, or as they were colloquially known as, quirks, but a piece of their being inextricably tied to another, it's difficult for people to stand on their own. Heroes and villains take to the streets like comic book characters. The world carries on in the only way it can.
Unknowable magics entwine the world. Ancient gods, long since sent to slaughter. A society, crumbling at the foundations. Rot and corruption seep through the cracks. Yet the broken can be fixed, cracks can be mended. Cruelty and chaos bare their teeth in threat, love and order pour forth from the bloodied wounds. The moon had sent out a reminder that the world has long since needed a reminder of - despite your power, you are not a god.
