Slowly, my mind began to function and my senses are gradually becoming awake.

I guess, I've reached heaven. For sure, if I open my eyes, I'll see my parents. I slowly opened my eyes as it adjusted to the light.

The first thing I saw was a ceiling.

Where am I?

Suddenly, I felt incredibly hungry that I heard my stomach roar.

I slowly sat up and my stomach roared again. I held it out of embarrassment. Does heaven really look like this?

I thought, I was like a floating spirit or something. But, the sensation feels real. I'm the same room and same bed. It feels like I'm still in Anteiku.

"Awake, huh?"

I looked at the entrance of the room and there was Kaneki-kun.

Huh? Why is he here? Did he die as well?

Unexpectedly, my stomach made a huge growling sound.

I flushed red in embarrassment as he chuckled teasingly at me.

"Gotcha red-handed. Haha.." He smirked.

He went out of the room. Oh, it was so embarrassing..!

Soon, he returned with a little girl with him carrying a tray full of food.

"Onee-chan, I brought food!" She said.

This girl.. I've seen her before.. I think her name was Hinami..?

I took a bite. Oh!

So deliciouuuuuuuuuus!!!!

I gobbled up the food. I couldn't hide that fact that I was so hungry so, I ate like a person with no etiquette.

"You sure have a huge appetite, onee-chan." The little girl giggled.

"That's understandable." Kaneki-kun said.

"That's because, she was unconscious for 4 days." He said.

It made me stop eating and the food got stuck on my throat. I began to cough and choke.

"Onee-chan, here's water!" She said as she gave me a glass of water.

I drank it in 3 gulps. Phew.. I'm saved.

"I was out for 4 days?!" I asked surprised.

"Yeah." Kaneki-kun nodded.

"What?! You mean, I'm still not in heaven?" I asked.

He looked at me with his poker face. He walked towards me and gave me a strong flick on the forehead.

Ouch! I held my forehead.

"Ow! What are you doing?!" I exclaimed as I was angry.

"It hurt? Then, that means, you're alive." He said.

Huh?! I'm alive?!!!!

That can't happen. This is ridiculous. I looked at Hinami-chan with sincerity.

"Please hit me." I said.

"Eh?" She exclaimed.

"Come on, just do it." I said.

"O-Okay.."

She slapped me and it was unexpectedly very strong. It made me look at the side because of the impact.
