Junhui's eyes fluttered open in the midst of the night. The first thing he noticed was how cold it was. It was the middle of the night and he was in a small apartment in New York. On top of all of that he came to realize he wasn't wearing any clothes. He went to bring his hand up to rub his tired eyes, but found his arms restricted. He moved his head to look up and through a dark tired haze, he saw a sleeping Wonwoo. His arms were wrapped around Junhui's body and Junhui's head had been laying upon Wonwoo's chest. Faded memories from hours ago came back to him.

"Your soul, it glows."

"I can just feel that it's me."

"Move in with me."

"It can just be us. Together. Forever."

"Okay."

...

"Stop being so god damn gentle with me."

"Trust me, okay?"

"Ahh- fuck- please..."

"...i love you..."

He smiled slightly at the memories. They were a bit hazy due to his drunken state, but the feelings were still very prominent. He shivered again, he was still cold. He slipped away from Wonwoo's nude body and walked towards his closet. Wonwoo was very organized, his closet was sectioned off and finding his collection of sweaters was easy. Junhui looked through the many oversized sweaters Wonwoo owned. He started imagining the other man wearing these, the sleeves falling past his fingertips. He would look so damn cute.

Junhui ultimately decided on a light grey, extra large sweater. He slipped it over his torso and it dropped to his upper thigh, the sleeves ending just before his fingertips and his collarbones on full display. The material was softer than anything he had ever owned and it smelled like vanilla and Wonwoo.

"Junnie?" Wonwoo's raspy voice sounded from behind him.

He turned around and strolled back to the bed, climbing under the blankets. Wonwoo pulled Junhui into his arms. "What were you doing up?Is this my sweater?" Junhui only snuggled closer and whispered a sleep laced, "Cold." Wonwoo hummed in response and slipped his hands under the back of the sweater Junhui was wearing. He started drawing circles on the skin of Junhui's back. "Go back to sleep." He whispered while nuzzling his nose into Junhui's hair. And so he did, Junhui let the warmth of Wonwoo lull him back to sleep.

He awoke again hours later, but this time to an empty bed. It was early Tuesday morning and Junhui had to get ready to go to work.

"Quit."... "Quit your job."

He slipped out of the bed and walked towards the kitchen. He found a fully dressed Wonwoo sitting on a stool eating some scrambled eggs and pancakes with a second plate next to him. He looked up at Junhui and his eyes immediately dropped to Junhui's exposed thighs.

"Good morning, Junnie. Come eat." he gestured to the plate besides him. Junhui walked over and sat down at the seat next to Wonwoo. He took a bite of his eggs before Wonwoo asked him, "Do you feel okay? You need any coffee or anything?"

Junhui hummed. "Yea, coffee would be amazing." Wonwoo got up and walked over to the counter where there were already two warm coffee cups that Junhui hadn't noticed. He sat back down and handed him a cup. "I stopped by the coffee shop and got back a few minutes before you woke up. Joshua was working this morning. Cheryl was there as well. They seem to be doing fine. They both told me to tell you 'Hi'." The two continued to hold up a casual conversation while eating breakfast.

"Aw, I haven't seen Joshua in a week, he barely works anymore. I wonder what he's doing instead." he took a sip of his coffee.

"I didn't get a chance to ask. Maybe we could visit him today."

Junhui shook his head as he swallowed a bit of pancake. "I still have to go to work, I need to give my notice of leave. Speaking of, what time is it?"

Wonwoo looked down at his watch. "7:53"

Junhui sighed. "Alright, I'm going to get dressed, mind if I borrow some of your clothes?"

"Go ahead, I'll clean up breakfast." He said while reaching to pick up Junhui's now empty plate. "Thanks." Junhui responded as he got up from the table. Wonwoo's gaze followed him until he slipped behind the bedroom door. Junhui searched through Wonwoo's closet and drawers until he found a flowey, long sleeved, cream colored shirt before grabbing his pants from yesterday. He laid the selected clothes upon the bed as he searched Wonwoo's drawers for a clean pair of underwear. After getting his clothes on and preparing for his day he walked out and saw Wonwoo doing dishes. He grabbed his coat from yesterday and started putting on his shoes. "I'm going to get going now. Don't forget to start packing your things. I left a key to my apartment on the nightstand. I'll be back at lunch to help you move things. Bye, Woo." Junhui took his leave and right before he closed the front door, Wonwoo could be heard saying "Bye Junnie."

He made sure to stop by his apartment before actually taking off to work. And when he did, a small smile followed him along with a light bounce in his steps that hadn't been there before. All he could think about was Wonwoo and how much of a gift that man was. He thought about their future together, and how the two of them could live on for however long they wanted. His heart jumped with a happy and almost full feeling. Even his co-workers could tell something was different about Wen Junhui. As he stepped into his office Anne eyed him with curiosity. There were a few things she noticed. One: He was smiling. Two: He wasn't wearing his usual hat. Three: He was wearing clothes she hadn't seen him wear before, which was odd because only had a few outfits that he switched between. Four: He didn't have his daily cup of coffee with him. Five:...He looked like he was in love.

"What's that look for? Finally found your soulmate?" She asked him. "By the looks of it, she must be a high class woman. Are those new clothes? Did she talk you out of wearing that treacherous hat? Finally knock some sense into you?"

Junhui's mood faltered a bit at a small realization. He wouldn't be able to tell anyone about why he's so happy. They would kill him. More importantly, they would kill Wonwoo. With that, he pushed down his happy feelings and instead replaced them with a serious look. He knew he wouldn't be able hide them all day so he knew he needed to get this over with now.

"I quit." he said while looking directly into her eyes.

She only scoffed in reply. "No you don't. Your contract-"

"Ended last month." When Junhui stopped by his apartment that morning he had picked his copy of the contract. "You lied to me." He stated as he walked closer to her and threw the paperwork onto her desk. "You're so desperate for me to be here that you actually tried to manipulate me. Well look at how it turned out. You're down two departments, some investors, and now, a secretary. Good-bye Anne."

She only glared at him as he walked out of the room with the biggest smile on his face. He had thought that he would be able to put up with her for at least the day but after finding out that he didn't need to be there, he became elated. His whole being jumped for joy. He finally felt free. He no longer had to deal with Anne, a man that he genuinely had fallen for was moving in, they had a cat together and now, they are going to build a life together. It all just felt perfect.

But nothing's perfect.
