The second the model realized who he was talking to and who had helped him off the ground he immediately started sputtering out apologies, embarrassed that one of the CEO’s had just seen him crash to the ground. But all Junhui could think was,

Fuck, he’s so much hotter in person.

The model kept fidgeting with his hands and apologizing and it wasn’t until he tried to bow as he apologized that Junhui spoke up.

“Stop apologizing. I don’t even know what you’re saying sorry for.” He said confidently.

“Oh, well- it’s just- um- I’m sorry you had to see that mess. You must be busy and now I’ve disturbed whatever you were doing and-”

“What’s your name?” Junhui interrupted.

“Xu Minghao, sir.”

Junhui’s face lit up at the name that could easily be identified as Chinese. Everything about this man had seemed perfect. The fact that he was chinese only added onto Junhui’s mental list of all the things that he liked about the model.

“You don’t have to call me sir,” Junhui started in English, “But if that’s your preference then I wouldn’t mind.” he whispered in Chinese.

Minghao slightly blushed and looked down, having understood what Junhui said all while being shocked at the sudden use of his native language.

Wonwoo could sense how overwhelmed Minghao was and, as Junhui had taught him Chinese a while ago, he decided to join in the conversation in Chinese to subtly let Minghao know that he had heard what Junhui had said and is trying to help.

“We should get going if we wanna leave before rush hour.”

The only problem with his plan was that Minghao hadn’t noticed that Wonwoo was there and now, he was even more overwhelmed by the fact that he made a fool of himself in front of not one, but both of the CEO’s. And the fact that the other had heard what was said to him only made him blush out of embarrassment harder. He really wanted to get out of this situation.

“I really am sorry, sir. You must be busy, I’ll just take my leave then.” Minghao began to stumble away as the words quickly escaped his lips.

“I hope to see you later Xu Minghao.” Junhui smiled as he said these words and Minghao bowed to him as he shuffled off.

As soon as he was out of sight Junhui turned to Wonwoo and practically began to squeal.

“Oh God, Wonwoo did you see him? He’s way more attractive in person. And like, the way he was all shy and cute despite looking extremely breathtaking-” Junhui clutched his hands on his chest where his heart would be. “He’s so much better in person.” Junhui sighed.

“Yeah, yeah, I get it, you like him. Now let’s talk about this over dinner before even more people begin to stare. You do own half this company. You have an image to uphold.” Wonwoo said as he ushered Junhui towards the doors.

“Whatever.” Junhui sighed, thinking about the interaction he just had. His heart picked up speed just thinking about him. Minghao had seemed so confident and put together in his photos, but during this conversation, he was so shy and cute. It made Junhui think about all the sides of Minghao he wanted to discover. He kept saying his name over and over again in his head, just because he liked the fact that he now knew it. Xu Minghao. Xu. Minghao. Everything about him just seemed so amazing and he couldn’t wait to get to know him better. He wanted to know what Minghao’s laugh sounded like. He wanted to know about Minghao’s hobbies and his favorite color and how he prefers to sleep at night. And what foods he was allergic to and what his favorite music was. And as all these questions were roaming through his mind he kept smiling his bright smile. He wanted to know about every bit of this human being as he possibly could, and he intended to do so.
