The following morning Hansol woke up dazed and a bit confused. Confused, at first, as to where he was, but when his eyes laid upon a sleeping Seungkwan he remembered where he was at. But then he grew a bit more confused. Junhui wasn’t anywhere to be seen in the room. He slowly crawled out of the bed, as to not disturb his soulmate, and tip-toed out of the room. He walked around a bit until he found who he was searching for. He spotted Junhui sitting on the couch wrapped up in two or three blankets, with colored pencils and coloring books all around him. He wasn’t doing anything, he was just sitting there, staring out the window, matching the morning pass by.

“Jun?” Hansol asked, breaking the silence. Junhui quickly turned his head in Hansol's direction and tensed up.

"Sorry for startling you." Hansol muttered. "How long have you been awake?"

Junhui did not respond, he only looked down upon the pages and pages of lightly colored pictures. Hansol followed his eyesight and looked upon the scattered drawings that were littered with colored pencils. He only sighed at the sight.

"I'm going to make breakfast, what do you want" Hansol asked in hopes of helping Junhui's mood. Junhui only weakly shrugged in response and Hansol sighed again and walked to the kitchen.

By the time Hansol was finished with breakfast, Seungkwan had woken up to a completely empty bed and a silent house. And when he walked into the living room, he found Junhui laying on the couch wrapped up in a blanket staring blankly at the television, not exactly watching it. He also found Hansol in the kitchen setting up the table for breakfast.

“Hey, maybe we should eat in the living room. I don’t think Junhui’s going to get up. “ Hansol nodded in agreement but as the two of them began picking up the plates, Junhui had shuffled his way into the kitchen, still wrapped in a blanket, and plopped himself down into one of the chairs.  He didn't say a word. He just sat there wrapped up in his blanket, staring intently at a dark spot on the table. Seungkwan and Hansol just looked at each other in slight but equal confusion before putting the plates back down on the table. They ate and sat in complete silence. No one really knowing how to talk to the other. About 10 minutes into their awkward breakfast, Junhui got up and left his food unfinished on the table.

It was odd because he didn't shuffle away from the table, he walked. He actually picked his feet up off the ground as if nothing had happened. This only furthered the couple's confusion. They got up and followed Junhui as he headed towards his bedroom, but by the time they had gotten to his room, Junhui had already changed into a clean shirt and a new pair of sweatpants and was putting on a pair of shoes.

"Are we going somewhere?" Seungkwan asked.

There wasn't a moment of silence as expected. Junhui immediately responded with, "Chan."

They couple immediately understood. "Hansol, go get the car ready."

He nodded and left the room.

As Hansol got the car ready, Seungkwan helped Junhui get ready and then got dressed himself, while grabbing the extra pair of clothes they had brought for Hnasol. Junhui then walked to the car, not waiting for Seungkwan or Hansol. He had felt so empty, things still hadn’t processed, and the lack of sleep wasn’t helping either. It still didn’t seem real, but all he knew was that if this ever did process and this really was happening, then his friends were hurt and he needed to be there for them. So he sat in the back seat of the car, still with his blanket wrapped tightly around himself, and waited.

It wasn’t long before the couple joined him in his car and drove off to the hospital, which is where they had last left everyone. They drove in eerie silence, just like breakfast.

Once they had arrived, once again, Junhui didn’t wait for anyone, he got out of the car and walked into the hospital, the couple quickly following behind him. After he found out what room Chan was in, he walked through the hospital in search for the boy. When he walked into the room he found Chan, asleep in his bed, machines beeping steadily all around him and wires connected to his body. In the corner Seungcheol and Wonwoo were curled up, seemingly very uncomfortably on a pair of chairs. Seungkwan and Hansol stumbled into the room right behind Junhui and saw the same thing he did. The noise of the three of them coming in must have started Wonwoo because he woke up and laid his eyes upon the newcomers.

“Hey.” He groggily welcomed them as he stretched. "How are you, Junnie?"

He didn't answer the question, instead he responded with, "How's Chan?"

Wonwoo let it slide for now, he was going to have to make sure Junhui was okay at some point, but maybe now wasn't the best time.

"He's fine. Doctor says he's ok and he's gonna be good to go in a few days." Wonwwo said.

Junhui softly nodded, and that was that. Everyone was okay, well, mostly. Everyone was alive, and that's what mattered. They had all survived, but at what cost? They didn't know. They also didn't know where they were going to go from here, but they took it one step at a time, and they began to walk together. Starting with caring for Chan. For the next week they took turns watching over him and making sure he was okay. Distracting themselves from their own pain. They took on that responsibility, but sooner or later, they would have to care for themselves, and that was the scariest part
