Yrene stood up and whispered something into Rowan's ear which made a small smile appear on his face.

"Good, I'm guessing?" Aelin asked studying her mate and the healer.

Rowan told Aelin to turn around so he could get to the back of her neck, then he got to work.

After about an hour Rowan was done.
On the back of Aelin's neck was a piece of writing written on top of an ancient piece of paper. It was like a little piece of an ancient scroll was ripped off and in neat handwriting was written: 'Wherever you go, and more, the world needs more Aelins. As soon as Aelin saw it, she ran to Yrene and they held on to each other for a while. After pulling away, both girls were in tears.

"Thank you, Aelin. If it wasn't for you I would have never made it to the Southern Continent or become the heir to the healer on high, or have met Chaol, thank you," she said through tears.

"You were seventeen at the time, a teenager training with the silent assassins and you helped save the world, thank you Aelin, you brought my wife to me," Chaol added and shared a hug with Aelin.  Once all tears were wiped and everyone was settled it was Chaol turn to choose Aelin's tattoo.

"I have an idea," he said standing and whispered something into Rowan's ear.

"Make two fists Fireheart," Rowan said curling her hands into fists.

"Ok..." She said hesitantly.

"Open your eyes!" Chaol said half laughing.
On her right hand, the letters P, L, A, N were written just below her knuckles (except her thumbs) and on her left hand the letters A, H, E, A were written.

"Thanks Chaol," Aelin said sarcastically.

"You are the most welcomed me your Majesty," Chaol replied with a mocking bow.

"Finally my turn!" Aedion exclaimed getting up.

"Oh no," Aelin said and the words were clearly displayed on everyone's faces too. Nobody knew what Aedion was going to do but whilst getting up he gave Lysandra a cheeky wink. She raised her eyebrows and gave him a slap on the shoulder.

Aedion stood up and called back to Lysandra, "I know you love me!"

Aedion leaned towards Rowan and whispered into his ear. Everyone was dead silent straining their ears to hear what Aedion was saying. When he was finally done with his elaborate idea, he pulled away leaving Rowan's face twisted with confusion, concern and doubt.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" Rowan asked.

"Yep!" Aedion replied happily and confidently.

"You know the consequences right?" Rowan asked, a slight smile on his lips.

"I'm not scared of my dear sweet little cousin," Aedion replied.

Manon let out an evil giggle whilst Chaol and Dorian's faces twisted half with laughter half with fear for Aedion.

Aelin simply turned to face him, one eyebrow raised to challenge him and clicked her fingers. Instantly Aedion jumped up with a loud squeal and exclaimed, "Hey you can't do that!"

"As Queen of Terrasen and your dear sweet little cousin.... I can." She answered with a sweet smile, "now get on with the tattoo," she said beckoning him over.

"You are so eager! I like it!" Aedion said, teasing his cousin.

"Get over here before I kick you out of the castle and make you sleep in Abraxos' room!" Aelin threatened.

"That would be highly offensive to Abraxos'," Manon commented.

"Sorry, of course your Majesty, we must send the general to..." Aelin wondered.
"Skulls Bay! You can tell Rolfe I say 'Hi'" she finished with a smirk.

Aedion finally gave in, "Calm down, let's just start the tattoo,"
