Happy Valentine's Day.

While I watched TV, I saw Shiki approaching me and leaning on the living room couch.

Shiki: Baaabe...?

(F/N): Yeeaah...?

Shiki: I have a surprise for you~

(F/N): ?

Shiki: You know what day it is today, right ?

(F/N): Uhh... no...?

Shiki: Seriously ? You forgot ?

(F/N): Umm... 

Shiki: I will help you, it starts with the letter V.

(F/N): ?

Shiki: Usually, that day, people offer things that start with the letter C.

(F/N): Cockroach ?

Shiki: Wha- no, it's something we can eat.

(F/N): Cake ?

I looked at the calendar on my phone.

(F/N): Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I forgot...!

Shiki: ...

I got up from the couch to kiss him.

(F/N): I'm sorry... Please don't be angry...

Shiki: It's ok.

I kissed him again.

(F/N): Sooo... You said you had a surprise for me... 

Shiki: That's right... but I'm not sure you deserve it.

He made me a mocking smile.

(F/N): Wha- please !

Shiki: Mmm...

(F/N): Please please please please please !

He laughed.

Shiki: Ok, go change yourself and join me here when you're ready.

(F/N): Ok !

I kissed him on the cheek and headed for the bathroom.

I put on a dress with a jacket and tights and then I beautify my eyes with eyeliner and mascara.

I put on long boots with small heels and then I joined Shiki in the living room.

(F/N): I'm ready !

Shiki: You're beautiful.

I smiled at him.

(F/N): Thank you !

I kissed him on the cheek.

He opened the door and I followed him outside.

I followed Shiki to a clearing with magical aspects.

A blanket and a basket filled with food that looked delicious was placed under a cherry blossom that dotted the green grass of pink petals and gracefully balanced with the gentle breeze of late-night.

(F/N): It's... it's beautiful...

Shiki: I knew you would like this place.

He smiled.

Shiki: Come.

Shiki and I went to sit on the blanket.

I looked at the river near me that reflected the beautiful sunset in various colors.

Shiki: I have another gift for you.

(F/N): ?

He handed me a little heart-shaped box surrounded by a little bow.

Shiki: Happy Valentine's day.

I smiled and opened the box that contained a dozen of small chocolate.

I approached him and gave him a little kiss on the lips.

He responded to my kiss with an infinite sweetness.

Shiki: I love you.

(F/N): I love you too.

We looked at each other for a moment before Shiki spoke.

Shiki: Do you like your surprise ?

(F/N): Of course but... I feel bad, I didn't buy you anything...

Shiki: Seen you happy is the best gift you give me.

We smiled at each other and spent the rest of the evening chatting in this magical place now lit by the moonlight.
