Story 1.4 Guo Li Jun

Guo Li Jun, the protagonist of the story, had been hiding inside the Feng Xi auctioneer house located in the west district.

"Welcome back Lord Guo." A young man wearing light Armour greeted him.

"Have you found Ke Er?" Wang Ke Er was the female attendant who risked her life to escape together and his childhood friend.

Before stumbling onto Ming Yu, he went to assassinate the Prime minister personally but it didn't go smoothly due to the Emperor's trusted General's sudden visit. After verifying the Minister dead, he was heavily engaged in battle as he was surrounded leaving him no choice but to flee in haste which caused the injury to his stomach.

Since the General was there, that meant she failed to keep him at bay and since had been missing.

"We still haven't." Although Wang Ke Er was skillful, she was still lacking the ability to face an experienced General on equal grounds. If there was any other way to keep the general astray, Guo Li Jun wouldn't even consider sending Wang Ke Er to lure the General away by seducing him.

"Ke Er's smart, she'll be back." She might be lacking in some areas yet her wits had saved their lives more than a few times.

"Ren Jin, If you're future-wife wasn't skillful enough to save herself, I wouldn't have sent her away."

"What wife?!" The hairs on his skin rose. If he really did marry her, Yao Ren Jin could only picture himself marrying a female bull. "As if I'd marry such a rogue who acts like a man and fools around with women."

"YAO REN JIN!" Wang Ke Er barged in through the door and walked up to him. "How dare you call this beauty a rogue!"

Wang Ke Er's hair was somehow wet making some of her hair stick on her face and hug her body. She was wearing white with blue flowers embroidered around the edges. Adding to her furious expression, Yao Ren Jin couldn't deny her words.

"Look who's finally back. Ah yes, you're a beauty but so what? look at you walking around looking like this! aren't you embarrassed!?"

At first, she blushed flustered when he said she was a beauty before looking at herself not understanding what was amiss.

"Tsk! and you call yourself a woman." Since she didn't know what was wrong, she could only glare at him.

"T-this is why men are so hateful. hmph!" she turned her head over and said in a pleading tone to Guo Li Jun "of course you're an exception, young master Jun."

"tsk. two-faced"

"Tsk. Tsk. Ah Jin, Ah Jin, no wonder you're single! You don't know how to please women!" she taunted.

"I don't need to hear that from you! dressing up as a man and frolicking over women wherever you want, Wang Ke Er! who'll want to marry you!"
