Cold.

Bea Yu woke up first, shivering from the freezing temperature.

When she opened her eyes, layers of fine meat hanged on the walls and ceiling was what came in sight making her scream from fright only to realize they were either huge chunks of pig meat, a leg of beef and chickens.

T-the cooler room?

Her body was stiff, staggering snail placed, reaching out to open the door.

SHIVER.

"I-it's open. . ."

Freedom was a step away but for some reason, she feared the outside more than the nasty cold meat-stinking room.

KREEEN.

The metal door easily opened and before her was darkness. The cooler's light couldn't illuminate the entire kitchen space. A meter before her was complete darkness.

Her frozen nerves made moving a challenge, her steps echoing through the silent kitchen hall.

CLUCK. CLUCK. CLUCK. CLUCK.

Was the monotonic rhythm of her heels hitting the solid floor.

"Anyone ... here...?" her voice was meek, feeling unsafe to be alone in the dark.

Only a step away, she could've left the comfort of the cooler's light when she was suddenly blinded by something.

Her eyes closed itself shut, blinking rapidly by the second. The light of the cooler was being reflected back to her by something identically metallic.

"H-hello ...?"

CLUCK. CLUCK.

The footstep not hers, but someone else.

"Bea ..." a female voice said.

From the dark, Lan Mei Ru walked out.

Normally, Bea Yu would've approached her, concerned but this time she couldn't.

No... she did not want to.

Lan Mei Ru was scary.

She had her eyes fixed onto Bea Yu's neck, on her hand, a sharpened knife.

"B-Bea ... come here ..."

"M-Mei Ru ... w-what are you ..."

Bea Yu stepped back but she barely could do so. Warning signs were blowing off inside her head yet he was stuck in that moment of fear and disbelief that she couldn't think right.

Run... I need to run... quickly... I need to be out of here...

"Come here ... If you come here, I won't make it painful..."

Lan Mei Ru coaxed in a stutter. Her brain occupied with self-assuring thoughts.

I DON'T WANT TO KILL YOU. I'M SORRY! B-BUT IF I DON'T KILL YOU THEN I'LL DIE!

IT'S FINE RIGHT? IT'S TO SAVE MYSELF ANYWAYS- NOBODY WAN'T TO DIE RIGHT?! ISN'T IT NATURAL TO FEAR DEATH? I'M NOT A MURDERER! I'M NOT A MURDERER! I'M NOT A MURDERER! I'M NOT A MURDERER! I-I-I-I WAS FORCED! YEAH... IT'S THE KILLER'S FAULT. IT'S THAT MAN'S FAULT NOT MINE! NO ONE WILL BLAME ME! EVERYONE WILL UNDERSTAND!

"B-Bea ... don't run. Y-you ... you're kind right? y-you understand me right? B-b-before ... I-I he didn't kill me saying that it wasn't my day yet ... a-and I noticed t-that only one of us dies ..."

Her face was twisted in a smile with furrowed brows. That of a Lunatic.

"B-Bea ... come closer ... please okay?"
