Nathan and Leila talked every single day. Even when Nathan had chemo and radiation they still talked during it by using their phones. Leila had gifted Nathan one of her old phones and one of Nathan's doctors told him they would pay for everything. Nathan and Leila became the new best friends that hoped to be more than that.
When they got together they only ever talked about Nathan. He was the subject of their friendship. Nathan never asked Leila anything about herself other than school stuff, which Leila had no problem talking about. Leila is very guarded, she doesn't let people into her life. Most of her friends barely know anything about her. She usually just keeps to herself. Leila never asks about Nathan's personal life and he's open to answering any questions she has for him.
Leila has a deep past that is filled with depression and terrifying thoughts that were brought on by a bunch of middle school bitches.
I know this is short, but I have a lot going on with school right now and I know it's been a month, but I'll get to writing when I can. I hope y'all understand.
