Alex's POV:

Today, is a new day, new job and a new detective partner called Rye Beaumont, he is beautiful, his features were just wow, his jawline looked amazing, his lips looked inviting, also his bare chest was mouth watering.

Rye has been a detective for 10 years now so he knows what he is doing, me I haven't got a clue. "Ready for your new job" I heard Rye say walking through the long hallway to my new office that was next to Rye's office.

"Yeah, ready as I will always been" i replied, I knew this job is going to be hard when your partner is distracting you. As we both got in Rye's car, I felt an ugry to say something but I'm so scared to say anything. My jaw became tried and my eyes wouldn't stop staring at the side off Rye.

"What! Is there something wrong?" He whispered before we pulled into a parking lot for a shopping center. "Really in there" I finally spoke. "No, you see that small building over there" he replied before pointing over to a small shop that sales only clothes.

We both walked over to the police tape and Rye spoke to the guard then showed him his ID and I showed him mine.

The guard said "OK this way dectives" as we followed him into the shop. It was a mess, clothes everywhere, blood all over the clothes that was still hanging up, there was also some blood spilled onto the floor around the body. Rye got closer to it, and do what dectives are meant to do. Well me I'm still learning.

"Come here Alex" he yelled as I walked over to him, the smell of blood was making me feel sick, I don't think I could do this job. I then bended down to watch Rye examine the body that was dead coved in blood.

After half an hour we finished examing the body and was on the way back to the office.

As we both reached my office, we was decreating the murder, on how it happened, with what weapon also if there is more than one person, so we can stop them from killing again. We got so close our faces were nearly touching, then all of a sudden, Rye's phone was ringing and he moved away to answer the call. "Ok, be right there" all I heard. "We have to go, we got another dead body" as we both ran out the office down the hallway, to the car. Soon as we know it, we was at the crime since, it was more horrible, more guesome to look at but we have to because it's our job.

The police showed us into the bowling allay. I looked over at Rye, who was already staring at me and then he smiled, which made my stomach turn into butterflies. What is this boy doing to me? He is here to distract me from working.

"Wait, Rye I want to do this one" as Rye stepped back so I could examine the body "right, here on her neck looks like she was injected with something to knock her out, then the killer hit a bowling pin on the victims head as the pin is broken and got blood on it"

Rye looked at me confused, "your getting good at this" he spoke same time he was staring at me. After 10 minutes we were finished examing the body in the bowling alley.

It was lunch time so we drove to a cafe and ordered our food after we both went back to the car to eat our lunch. As I got into the passager seat, rye learnt over to me and kissed my lips. To be honest I don't know how to feel about him kissing me. I had fireworks in my body that I can not control. My stomach had butterflies in it and the worst feeling is when I felt numb. My body was aching all over.

The rest of the car ride was silent as we was going back to the station. We pulled up at the station and both went to our own offices. Then all of a sudden Rye came running into my office and said "Alex we need to go, there is another dead body"

As we ran to the car. It was a 2 hour drive to this location and I wasn't looking forward to this one bit. Being next to Rye was distracting to say the least. It has been half an hour into the journey and I was trying to make a conversation with Rye but he was trying his hardest to ignore me.

"Rye, why are you ignoring me" I kept saying. All he managed was a small smile on his face. I kept looking at him the whole 2 hours as we arrived at the location. I followed Rye into the building and where the body was at.

*After they exam the body*

Rye was still ignoring me as we was driving back to the office. He was yawning a lot, and set me off yawning. We went through a small village and found a hotel "let's stay here tonight" Rye whispered as he pulled into the hotel parking lot.

He parked the car. Afterwards we both entered the building and walked up to the front desk. Rye said "have you got any spare rooms" the women behind the desk replied "we only have 2 spare rooms which are double beds" Rye looked at me then back at the women with a smile on his face.

Rye said " OK we will take a room please" she giggled "here, you need this key also have fun and don't be too loud" He cheeky replied "don't worry, we won't" as Rye took the keys from the women while he grabbed my hand and took me to our room that we have to share.

When we entered the room, Soon as I closed the door. Rye pushed me up against it and was kissing each other, he was go freaking cute. Then all of a sudden he pushed me gently to the bed.

*2 weeks later*

It has been 2 weeks since I started this job. To be honest I love it espially working with Rye Beaumont, he makes the day so much better. Every time Rye looked at me I felt butterflies in my stomach and that night when me and him had sex about 2 weeks ago. Ever since that night, we became closer, and we got to know each other better. But the best part was the long car journeys as Rye talked arrived

Here I am sat in my office daydreaming about everything. I heard a cough which bought me out of my head and into reality. "Oh hey Rye" I whispered, as he smiled at me "there is another dead body, this time it's in a public park" as we both ran to the car and drove to the park. After 20 minutes we arrived and soon as Rye was going to bend down to exam the body, out of nowhere he was sick.

But Rye was fine this morning.
