Chapter 15

Damon's POV

I walked down to Anna's room. She said she wanted to meet up for lunch. I'm late, no suprise there. I started walking faster down the hallway so Anna doesn't kill me. Than later I can pretend that I did it on purpose. You know, the cool side of me. I reached up to Anna's door and knocked on the door, "Boyfriend delivery." I said with a smile. I looked at the walls across from the door waiting for Anna to open the damn door. I knocked on it again. There was still a long pause. This wasn't starting off good at all. I banged on the door this time nt caring if anyone could hear, "Anna!" I shouted. I tried to bang the door open, but I'm not strong enough anymore. I'm not a vampire. "Shit!" I muttered. I took my fun out of my pocket and put it against my ear, "Hello?" I hear. A sigh of relief came out of me, "Stefan, get your ass down to Anna's room." I said with no hesitation. There was a pause on the phone, "Why? Where's Anna?" Stefan responded. I rolled my eyes in frustration, "At the ice cream shop. I don't know where she is. I was supposed to meet her at her room now." I told him. "Maybe she's at lunch waiting for you." Stefan said. I shook my head and kicked my foot against the door. The door flew open and there was nothing but a small bed that wasn't made, her bag, and some clothes she left on the ground, "She's not here," I told Stefan, "And Anna made it clear that I was meeting her here."

"I think you're overreacting." Stefan told me. He's kidding right? "I'll have you know that Anna is a target for every supernatural creature in exisitance. I'm postive that someone took her. With humanity or no humanity I can feel it in my gut that something bad happened to her." I said. There's was a long pause, "I'll be right there." Stefan said. I hung up and looked at the screen of my phone. I could see my reflection in it.

I walked to Bonnie's room and banged on the door, "Bonnie!" I hollered. Bonnie opened the door quickly. I let myself, "I need a spell," I said, "like now." Bonnie closed the door. Elena came rushing out of the bathroom, "Wait, what's going on?" Elena asked. I walked to an space of the room that had room, "Someone took Anna," I said, "I know someone did." Elena and Bonnie glanced at each other, "Wait how?" Bonnie asked. I raised my hands in the air, "How the hell am I supposed to know?" I said, "if I did Anna wouldn't be missing." Elena walked forward. Her beautiful bruentte hair feling in place on her shoulders. She gestured me to stop talking, "Do you know anyone else that would take her?" She asked. "Klaus." Bonnie said before I could answer, "But that's impossible, we left him behind injured. He's not a hybrid anymore. Just a werewolf." I nodded my head, "It's definately not Klaus and I know wthat for a fact." I said, "Now Bon Bon please perform a tracking spell, or so help me I'll find away to turn my humanity off." Bonnie glanced at Elena, "Get me a candle," she said, "Where's Stefan?" "With Matt and Jeremy finding Anna." I said. Bonnie nodded her head.

Elena left to get a candle. She came back with a faded blue one. Bonnie laid it on the nightstand near the bed. She closed her eyes and a flame arised.

 

Anna's POV

Every nerve in my body told me to stay alive. To fight through the water that would swallow me soon. I cna't think about that now. I need to find away to escape from the ropes. The ropes are resistant to my magic. The water is up to my thighs now. This high level of water scares me. It makes me realize that I don't have much time at all. I can't wish that someone will save me. It's all me. The situation I've been looking for since I found out I was the Teller. I'm not going to wish Damon was here, Bonnie, Elena, Jeremy, my dad, nobody. I'm capable of this. I believe it. I don't care aout how many people have saved me. I need to save myself. I try to rip the ropes, but the ropes rub against my skin causing it to burn. I bit my lip trying to survive the pain. I hear a snap. My hands are free. I need my feet to be untied. The water level is up to my waist. I take a deep breath and go under water. I try to look at the ropes through my blurry vision underwater. I tie through a loop and kick my feet free. I rush up to air. I gasp escaped out of me. I was drenched with water. I brushed my hair back. I tried to walk through the water to the door.

I kicked it and bang the door. Am I stupid or something? Right away I thought about my powers. I pressed my hand against the door and felt heat through my hand. The water was up to my shoulders now. Please please, don't let me die like this. The heat was still rushing through my hand. The water was up to my chin. Fear took over me.. Please. Then I felt the door move and the water was entering it's path. Along with me. I held on to a pipe, so I wouldn't float anywhere else.Put the water current kept pulling me with it.

My fingers slid of the pipe.

Damon's POV

I ran as fast a possible. Matt was by my side running with me. Anna was trapped in one of the pipe lines plants. Matt looked strong from the outside, but you could tell that he was falling apart inside. He never wanted his daughter to have this life. He never wanted to have this life. He was just one of the innocent kids that didn't deserve the lives they deserved. Like Bonnie, Elena, and even Jer. They let themselves walk into something that they'll regret for the rest of their lives. "Turn this way!" Matt said. We turned and saw a door that would lead to the lines. I opened the door and saw water rushing  against the walls. My stomach dropped. It was like watching something from the Titanic movie. This ship was going to sink. No doubt in my mind. The water is too heavy for the ship to resist. But the water level was crazy high. Anna supposed to be down here. Anna.

"Goddamit." Matt cried. Tears smeared down his face. His daughter is dead. I won't believe that, But looking at the water swallow everything in sight, it's the only thing you can think of. That she's gone. That she changed me. That she made me feel something. That she was different than everyone I've ever met. She didnt deserve this. She wasn't just the Teller. She was a person. She was a girl. She was th girl that fell in love with the idiot. The girl who had a shitty life. She was human being up in the heavens. But I refuse to believe that. Tears and sobs are escaping out of Matt. I ran down the stairs, "Where the hell are you going, amn?!" Matt shouted. I looked at him, "I refuse to believe Anna's dead." I said. Matt gave me a look as if I was crazy, "You're going to get yourself killed," he said. I shrugged, "I've lived long enough." I said. Matt shook his head, "I'm coming with you." He said. I shook my head, "No, you're..." "She's my daughter." Matt spit out. I couldn't argue with that because he was 100% right.

Matt followed me down. The water was up to my knees than as I got further and further the level was higher. I touched the top of the ceiling, "Anna!" I screamed. I looked through the water, trying to find her lifeless body. I swam further, "Anna!" I screamed. I saw hands on a piece of wood floating around. I swam as fast as possible to it. I saw Anna, still hanging there. I could kiss her right now for being strong. But all I could do was grab her body and swim away from the water Matt led upstairs, but another pipe blew and we swam faster. I ran up the siars caring Anna. The water was rushing up the stairs. Once we reached the top Matt closed the door quickly. We layed Anna down on the ground. "Anna," Matt whispered, "Come one, stay with me." Bonnie, Elena, Jeremy, and Stefan ran looking worried. Elena bent down next to Anna. Anna's face was straight. Her skin lookingpaler by the second. Then, a spray of water shot out of her mouth. She coughed and choked the water up. I held her in my arms. Matt took her away from me and held her against her chest, "Oh my god, Oh my god," Matt kept repeating.

"Dad," she muttered. Matt hugged her tighter. I looked at the door and saw that it wasn't going to last any longer. "We need to go," Bonnie said. We all ran. Matt carried Anna and we ran as fast as we could. All you could hear was the roar of the water destroying everything in it's path.
