I was sitting at the kitchen table. Everything seemed to be too bright. It kind of crawled under my skin. I looked up to see Damon reading the newspaper, "Damon." I said with a smile. Damon placed the newspaper on the table. He took a sip out of his coffee mug, "Yea," he said smirking at me. I giggled, "Stefan hasn't got back to us in the last week." I told him. Damon shrugged. He didn't seemed amused, "Stefan's Stefan," he stated, "He'll be fine." I didn't like the words he was saying. I was worried about Stefan he hasn't contacted us in a week or so. He was in California. That's all I know. I stood up and walked to the sink. I looked out the window. A blue jay landed delicatly on a large oak branch. I was examining it's beauty. It's beak was dark and the blue feathers around him were bright than the marble sky. My attentiom went away from it when I felt hand slide around my waist. I felt lips brush my neck and than slowly let go. "What are you doing," I asked Damon with a smile. I felt him shrug. His feel gave me goosebumps. I liked it though, "Will you marry me?" he whispered. His lips almost touched my ear. I felt everything inside of me fall in a flight of stares. I turned around. I felt the tears holding back like a dam. I tried to see if I understood him correctly.

"What?" I mumered. Damon wrapped his arms around me waist. He lifted my chin, "Will you marry me?" he asked. I didn't speak for a moment. My heart dropped. It was beating hard against my chest. I looked at Damon. His blue eyes pulle me into an adventure. I didn't think Damon was always up for a life commitment. He wanted to ,arry me. Be with me forever. I tried to speak, but the excitment was pulling me inside, "Yes." I finally said. A look of shock came across Damon's face. His eyes began to become bluer. I saw something I've never seen in Damon before. Hope. Hope was filling him.

"You will?" he ased. I kept noding my head and I couldn't rip off the smile across my face, "Yes," I said. Damon pulled me into him and put his lips against mine. I let go of them. He handed me a blue gemed ring with a silver barrier, "Anna Joy Donovan I give you this ring in honor of being my wife." he said slipping the ring on my finger. After he placed it I held his hand, "We're getting married." I whisperd. Damon squeezed my hand tighter, "We're getting married." he repeated. I tried to prevent myself from jumping up and down like a child. I was finally going to be married. To Damon. I love Damon. I've always have since he found me when I was sixteen. I love Damon. I love him. I hugged him and we slowly parted.

"What." I heard a voice crack. Damon and I whipped our head toward the voice. Stefan stood by the doorway. He looked pale. Really white. That's when I noticed Stefan was dying. There was a wooden stake placed in his stomach. Rotting blood filled around it. Stefan fell to the ground, "NO!" I hollered running towards him to help him. I wanted to scream, but i sobbed instead. I already had tears ready to fall from it's clouds. I tried to help Stefan. Damon was right behind me trying to save his brother, "Stefan please!" I said through erupting sobs, "No, no, no!" I couldn't get the wooden stake out of Stefan. I felt Damon pull me to him. I felt his tears hit my hair, "No." I cried again. Damon tried to comfort me, but no one was comforting him. Damon was stronger though. But he lost his brother. The man that he used to know. The man that was a vampire. The man that died with a broken heart.

"I'm sorry." I whispered to Stefan. But it was no use. Stefan's face was lifeless.

I gasped and awoke from the dream. I examined my surroundings. Yep, we were still in the motel room we got in last night. I felt sweat forming in the palm of my hands. My whole body was overwhelming me with heat. I was trying to find Stefan to make sure he was okay. He probably was, but something in that dream felt like it was telling me something. I felt Damon's hand on my bare arm. I was wearing a purple cami and dark navy shorts. Damon's eyes opened slowly, "What's wrong?" He asked me still sluggish from sleep. I got off the bed and grabbed my cardigan laying on the nightstand and wrapped it around me. Damon sat up now, "Anna." He said. I grabbed my flip flops and slipped them on my feet, "I just need to do something." I said. I opened the door and closed it shut, but before I did I heard Damon say, "Anna!" He said. I ran to Stefan's room and whipped his door open.
