Chapter 11 - Can it be over already?

The next morning I woke up to a heavy weight pushing down on me. Hard. A shock wave of pain was sent through my left ear and down the rest of my body when someone yelled, "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Completely agitated, I grabbed my pillow and held it over my head, hoping I would be able to drown out what was coming next. "Get up, lazy! We have the whole day ahead of us!" While screaming my older sister, Molly, grabbed my arms and tried pulling me out of bed. Knowing I was definitely stronger than her, I jerked my arms out of her grasp and placed them back on my pillow, holding it tightly against the back of my head. "Mmmmm," I mumbled into the pillow just wanting her to leave so I could sleep longer. I didn't know what time it was, but it felt extremely early to me and I was not in the mood to get up. However, Molly persisted, "Get off your lazy ass and get dressed!" She yanked the covers off of me and I suddenly felt the cool air drift over my bare legs, sending goosebumps across my skin. "Fine..." I mumbled into my pillow, hoping that answer would satisfy her enough to make her leave. Thankfully, it did and she left.

Knowing I definitely was not going to be able to go back to sleep, I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. Sleepily, I stood up and walked over to my closet where I grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a tie dye T-shirt I had cut up the previous year.

I threw all my clothes on and went into my bathroom to fix my hair a little. Trying to run a brush through my hair was a nightmare. For some reason there were a bunch of knots and so I gave up and put my hair up in a messy bun instead.

Looking into the mirror I noticed that the bump on my head was almost completely gone. I let out a sigh of relief when I noticed and continued to apply a tad of make-up. Grabbing my mascara and eyeliner, I quickly put some of each on, leaving it suddle and headed back into my room.

Walking over to my bed, I grabbed my cell to check the time. The clock on the front screen read, 8:32. "What the hell?" I said out loud to myself. It was only eight thirty and I was up? Why the hell would Molly wake me up this early? Letting out a groan I placed my phone back onto my night stand and turned to head downstairs. As soon as I let go of my phone it vibrated twice, signaling a new message. I picked it back up and read:

Zayn Malik - Hey Chloe, not sure if you're awake yet, but me and the boys wanted to check in to see if you and the rest of the girls would be able to work on a scene for the music video today. Let me know when you wake up. Thanks (:

My heart skipped a beat as I read the message from Zayn and instantly my mood was better. I forgot all about Molly coming home early and how she would certainly bother me, wanting attention all summer long. My good mood didn't last for long because my bedroom door swung open and, speak of the devil, she walked right in. "You ready? We are going to breakfast so hurry up," She told me while trying to hustle me out the door. "Alright, alright," I told her, "I just need a few more minutes. Ill be right down." With that, she let out a puff of defeat and walked back out of my room. God, she could be a pain in the ass.

Looking back at my phone I quickly typed:

Hey Zayn, I'm already up so I guess I can answer you right away. I'm sure the girls and I would be able to do the music vid today but I have to deal with something first. :/ Sorry. - Chloe

I was really looking forward to working on the music video and also getting to spend more time with Zayn, but I knew that my sister would certainly get in the way. If she found out about my friends and I doing a music video with One Direction, she'd completely flip. I did not want to have to deal with one of her "fits" so I decided not to tell her.

Walking downstairs I found my mom and sister in the kitchen, arguing. This time it was about what diner we should all go to for breakfast. They could easily argue over just about anything and if it got too heated, then things weren't too pleasant. Realizing that Molly was standing next to a book shelf which she could easily grab a book off of and throw in a matter of seconds, I stepped in to end it. "Guys," I said calmly, trying to get their attention. They just kept going at it. "Guys," I said a little louder this time, but still keeping a calm voice. I waited. Still no recognition that I was even in the same room as them. I finally I had enough. "GUYS!" I screamed at them with force this time. Their heads snapped around to face me and so I said, "Let's just go to Three Brothers." Looking at each other, then back at me they both finally nodded in agreement. I hid my relief and passed them, heading to the car.
