"Yuta..." I whispered, staring into his dark crimson eyes.
"What are you doing here?" He asked coldly. I took a deep breath. Stay calm, talk calmly.
"Do you know where Minhyuk is?" I asked, slightly surprised that I was able to sound so calm.
His expression changed for a split second, "Why?"
"Just tell me where he is," I said.
"Why do you want to meet him?" He asked coldly. I sighed. If he wanted to be cold, even I'm gonna be the same.
"That's none of your business, Yuta," I said harshly. He seemed to be taken aback with my tone.
"Okay, I won't tell you where he is."
"Why not?"
"You aren't telling me the reason why—"
"How does it matter to you?!" I asked, raising my voice a bit.
"It... It doesn't," He said, looking away.
"Exactly. So just tell me where the fuck he is?"
"He left a while ago."
"Which is his locker?"
"Figure it out yourself," Yuta said coldly. I sighed in annoyance.
I looked through the lockers before I saw one which had Minhyuk's initials on it. It was locked and the small opening was too small to slide the notebooks in. I groaned as I tried to figure out his code.
I tried a few times but to no avail. Then suddenly, a hand was placed on mine. I knew who it was. I felt a chill run down my spine.
He gently moved my hand away as he entered the code. He was too close. Extremely close.
He placed both his palms on the locker on either sides of my head after unlocking the locker. He looked at me with a pained expression, his beautiful dark crimson eyes evidently filled with pain and regret. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it.
"Just say it," I whispered, the tears forming in my eyes. Why was it so hard to be around him right now?
"I can't..."
"Just do it."
"I..." He hesitated, "It's nothing."
I blinked and a tear rolled down my cheek. He stiffened for a second before kissing the tear. It felt nice to feel his lips on my skin again. He sighed as he moved away from me and went and put a t-shirt on. He didn't even glance at me before he took his backpack and left.
I slid down the locker as I began to cry. Why was it so hard? Why did I have to fall in love with someone who doesn't even love me back? How I hoped that there was something, anything, that would make him fall in love with me too.
I sighed as I wiped my tears and tried to pull myself together. I placed the notebooks in Minhyuk's locker and went to go find Yuqi. I was surprised to see her talking to Lucas and Yuta. She noticed me making my way over and she smiled.
"Annyeonghaseyo Taehee," Lucas said with a smile.
"Annyeong," I said and smiled back. I could see Yuta staring at me through my peripheral vision but I avoided looking at him.
"Are you okay?" Yuqi asked in a concerned tone. "You look kinda pale."
"I'm fine..." I said. "Let's go, Sunwoo must be waiting for us."
She nodded but she didn't seem convinced. I saw her exchange a look with Yuta.
"Anyway, we'll be going now," Yuqi said. "Call me when you're free, Lucas."
"Gladly," He said with a smirk.
